Came here off season after visiting the beach. Sat outside on the patio as it was unseasonably warm, close to 70F/20C. They were out of the oysters and fried mussels, the table next to us just having eaten the last orders, but we had plenty still to choose from
Wanting to get outside the usual fare, I ordered the snails as an appetizer. Hubby and I shared. They were served with an aioli tartar sauce and some bread. Quite chewy and nothing to write home about but maybe it's an acquired taste. We still ate them all :)
For the main course, the guys both ordered the assorted tapas plate and it was AMAZING! Grilled shrimp and meat on skewers, fried calamari and shrimp, seafood croquettes and more. Every single thing on that plate was delicious! I ordered the steak tartare and it was also great - served with cornichons, capers, red onion, and some type of mayonnaise based sauce, as well as hand cut French fries and a nice salad. Also freaking delicious! Friend had the duck breast with fries and loved it. Shared a pitcher of Rose.
All the food was amazing. Big servings, great service, and very reasonable prices. If ever in the area, will definitely go again. read more
