Wow! So good people from Texas and Memphis will do a double take on how good the meat is here. I…read morehad the roast beef and it oozed with juiciness!! Krakow, you have our attention now :)

Meat & Go has evolved from a humble food-stand at Okrąglak to a hipster diner. Prices are rather…read morehigher now. Improvements to the dining experience more than compensate though. Having a place to sit is obviously better. The availability of wine and beer is another obvious plus. Harder to quantify is the love put into the food. It was apparent when Meat & Go was in Kazimierz that they care deeply about what they do. At their new location at Dolnych Młynów the level of dedication seems to have gone up further. Just look at my photos: They print names of their sandwiches on their napkins. I mean, who does that? The pekefleisch and the porchetta are still the headline stars. New additions to the menu hold their own as well. The cow-tongue sandwich, in particular, is to die for. The Hungarian rib "sandwich" is supreme as well--if you don't mind eating with fork and knife. The only unimpressed addition is the goose sandwich. With the skin and a thin-layer of fat, the flesh of this bird just tastes like dry turkey. Dolnych Młynów is presently the trendiest part of Krkaow. If you're one of those people who like to stay ahead of the curve, a visit to the city definitely warrant spending a night or two here. And if you do and you're not a vegetarian, by all means grab a sandwich at Meat & Go. You won't regret it.

We were staying at the Radisson. My husband found this place and we walked right around the…read morecorner. It seats about 20 people. We were lucky and didn't have to wait. The food was amazing. He had Cinnabon French toast and I had a Mexican bowl. The food was prepared after being ordered. It was freshly made and was served immediately. I cannot convey how delicious it was. My Mexican bowl was so large I couldn't eat half of it. The place was clean, the server was friendly and I hope we have time to go again before we leave Krakow. It was just a great experience.

Major Taste Whipping in Poland?!?! Afraid so. Let's start…read morewith the extensive menu that had something for everyone but what jumped out at me as a kid that grew up in the 90's and a fan of Queen, was the "Highlander" breakfast. It came with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, whipped cottage cheese with spices, a piece Of fried cheese, fresh tomato wedges with a vinaigrette drizzle, and a Polish pretzel. Everything was delicious. If that weren't enough I ordered the Lemoncello waffle as well! Just WOW!! A crispy outside and soft fluffy inside with vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon infused whipped cream topped off this master piece. Every bit was a citric explosion with lime purée and fresh berries as a garnish, my tastebuds were in overdrive! Lastly, I had the BEST freaking Iced cafe mocha I have had since I got to Europe (18 days and counting) in between Vienna, Slovakia, Romania, I had to come to Poland to get a legit mocha. The customer service was also amazing! When you done have to look for your server, that is a good server. The ambiance was so relaxed and chill that even every table was full we were just as comfortable as we were when we were the only two people in the restaurant. Five freaking stars!
