I was there at 10:30am, so I beat the lunch rush. I had to do a Google search on "panino al lampredotto" and here's what Wikipedia says "A sandwich with lampredotto--panino al lampredotto has been described as a "classic Florentine" sandwich and is a traditional regional street food in Florence. Lampredotto is typically chopped, slow-cooked in a vegetable broth, seasoned with herbs, and served on a bread roll. It is often topped with a spicy sauce or a green sauce (salsa verde). Lampredotto is a typical Florentine dish, made from the fourth and final stomach of a cow, the abomasum." I'm not a fan of tripe, but since it's famous and only 3€, I'm willing to give it a try. Well, I'm still not a fan of tripe! I ate 1/2 and fed the rest to some very hungry pigeons. I do plan to go back for a pork sandwich "panino porchetta". I had my first espresso shot here. It was 80 cents and a quick way to get your caffeine! There are benches in the little park that you can sit and eat on. Enjoy!

The restaurant itself is in a renovated greenhouse with lots of exotic plants throughout the restaurant. Great music and it is open until 2 am so the later it gets the more it turns into a club! The food was also incredible every single thing we got was 10/10 amazing. Great cocktails too and the owner was so sweet and gave us free drinks! Would highly highly recommend!

As the hubby and I were making our way towards the farmers market we saw a bunch of people crowd around this little food cart. Being a curious bee I couldn't help but go up to it and check out what all the commotion was about. Boy, was I glad the one time in my life for being a curious bee. We saw people eating off of this plastic tray and it was just meat and bread. The smell was delicious! I knew that we had to wait our turn and get our hands on some. what was it? bollito also known as boiled beef. it comes with parsley sauce and chili for 4.50 euros. if you don't eat super spicy i would ask them to put less chili or remove some. it will make you break into a sweat and numb your tongue. it was worth every penny! the cart is ran by a husband and wife team. it was so good my hubby and i kept thinking of it and decided to come back the next day! i totally recommend coming here and trying the bollito!!! you won't be disappointed. I ordered the lampredotto in zimino (sauce with vegetables). My advice for anyone who is a bit wary, just try it. It isn't at all like tripe (tripe has a weird texture). I'm giving this place 5 stars because I had a great experience, and it got me over my fear of lampredotto. I have absolutely no other basis for comparison. :)

A whole park dedicated to food trucks in Firenze!? I couldn't believe it! My mom and I decided to walk over. La dee daaa... Walking We get to the park and look at each other. Ok this park is cayuuutteee! There are tables with chairs set up. The trucks are lined up single file. There are beautiful trees, bushes and little lights hanging from them. Now on to what to get. There were many options but I saw Pesce! I ordered the fish and chips with a beer of course. Let me tell you something. Cook my fish perfectly like this again and I'm canceling my flight out. The fish was cooked in large balls. It came with slightly seasoned fries, tartar sauce and ketchup. We were able to find a seat next to a tree and also across from the water. It was beautiful. We heard loud music playing from across the water and it was good. They were jamming! House music that I hear in the states. Not everyone likes house music. It's a spiritual thang.... a soul thang lol We looked at each other again and said we're going over there tomorrow night. The end....

This adorable blue ape roams Florence and announces its location on Twitter and its website. They are however very happy along the Arno sharing the spot with La Toraia (burgers) where they told me they hope to stay. The food. Three items on the menu: mixed fried shrimp and calamari with two sticks of vegetables; cod and fries; and the pescepane, a kind of grilled cheese with anchovies, deep fried. Portions are not huge so you might get 2 items. I was also very pleased with their ability to answer allergy related questions and with customer service via Twitter!
