We were told by a close friend that that Sangria is exceptional in Spain...
With this said, while we were waiting for our train back to Palma De Mallorca, my brother and I found a ma n' pop shop that was advertising "Special Sangria" for only a few Euros. The sangria was served in soda-like-plastic cups, classy class f'sho.
The Sangria had a nice, Rich dark red color and consisted of a couple orange slices and melon slices. In all honesty, it was really sour..then ended a weird sweet taste. The best way to describe it is, jungle juice -wine style. Did I like it? Not really. Did I finish it? Yeup. Did I pass out shortly thereafter from finishing it? Double Yeup. More importantly, did I have that mini-hang-over headache from wine a couple hours after drinking it?! Triple Yeup.
The special Sangria isn't all that and a bag of chips. I'm just glad I got to try it once. read more
