Well Albergo Colombo is a friendly, simple and clean hotel. I never slept in there because my family owns a house in the Chianti mountains 1 km fro Castelfranco di Sopra. But I often have breakfast in the attached bar Colombo. Nothing really fancy but I like it a lot. So you will not find Latte Macchiato or Iced Chai Latte there. The two sisters Manuela and Marena have been running the bar for 36 years now. Manuela is very cute, She make wonderful cappucino in a small cup. Early in the morning there is a large selection of croissants and other sweet delicious stuff. My favorite is a crispsy croissant filled with vanilla-pudding and cream. A real treat. read more
