We waited for 20 minutes and none of the servers even made eye contact with us, let alone take our orders. Still didn't have menus at this point. We watched the servers take care of the tables next to us during that time, but they didn't approach us. Eventually, I just held my hand up to see if they would get the cue to come to the table. They continued to pretend like they didn't see us. We just got up and walked out at that point. I yelled "Thanks for the great service", and they just gave "have a nice night" as if nothing happened. No attempt to console us. Total lack of respect and decency. They pick favorites out of their customers and ignore you if they don't like how you look. Don't waste your money on that shithole. Also, there are serious racism vibes. I would not feel safe there if I were a person of color.

The first level of the establishment is right on the water. It is very very casual. One guy showed up in swim trunks, a cowboy hat, no shirt, and no shoes. The area is open, so there is no AC in that part of the bar. They have large fans to cool the area, but I was still hot. They have large round picnic tables, high bistro type tables, and a bar seating area. The bistro tables have very uncomfortable chairs. They are those small metal stackable chairs. Some have backs and others have no backs. Even the tiniest butts would not find those seats comfortable. I stood for the majority of the time. Dollar bills are stapled to the wall and ceiling from previous customers each with a saying, a name, and/or the date. They have one unisex restroom downstairs. There was a line each time I needed to go. The crowd seemed to be locals and people who work there and recently got off their shift. I think that is pretty common in these type beach bars. The energy was happy and everyone was nice. They play great music. During our stay, I heard Elvis (twice!), ABBA, Willie Nelson, other 70's artists, and some country. They also have live music. We left before the set started because we had to get home to Houston. The service was good. Our waitress was very attentive. We had the ceviche and shrimp Jammers to split. The Jammers are fried with gooey goodness inside. 5 Jammers to an order. They are really good, so I highly recommend those. The ceviche was refreshing. It came with tortilla chips and a large slice of avocado. They have very good drinks, plus whatever you might like bottled. The two of us each had two drinks. Our drinks and food totaled to $56.00 before tip. Good place to visit. Can't do anything about the heat, but it would be nice if they changed their seating.

It's the sister property to a larger sports venue next door. You will only find the name of the lounge written on the entry door. My visits were driven by a desire for a place to have a coupe of drinks and enjoy some music and the Lounge at Six works for me. The bartender did an excellent job on the cocktails and single handed served the entire room. You can order food (Thai Cuisine) that comes from the sports bar next door. Thai food at a sports bar isn't typical but the menu is large and I haven't found an item I didn't thoroughly enjoy. If you don't want the energy of a sports bar stick to the dark setting of the Lounge at Six.

We stopped by around 5 PM on Monday but the door was locked. We asked next door how to get in and they said The Lounge requires a reservation. They weren't sure how we could make a reservation so they took down our name and phone number and said we would be contacted by the "correct people". It has now been three days and nothing. There is no website or direct phone number for the establishment. It seems like a broken system, very disappointed.

The menu is intentionally restrained in structure, yet broad in direction cheese trays. unexpected, almost out of place for a small establishment, tapas as a newer addition, a strong emphasis on wine with a sweet wine flight, alongside steaks, sides, pastas, and even burgers. There's ambition in the variety, though not always cohesion. Seafood leans heavily on tilapia, which appears disproportionately across the fish selection. Not inherently negative, but noticeable. The ribeye, priced at $33.95, carried mixed execution. tender in parts, but inconsistent with noticeable dry sections. The scallops arrived cold, which significantly disrupted what should have been a highlight dish. Service was not the issue. Atmosphere was calm, controlled, and easy to sit in without distraction. The space itself does not fight the experience. it simply holds it. In totality, the restaurant lands in an uneven space: capable, sometimes enjoyable, but inconsistent in execution where it matters most. 4/5. good, but not well. -L.T
