I've been here about 4 times (nurses' elbow on my son, really bad cut I got, removal of stitches, pain/fever). Love that it's close to home and it usually saves a trip to the hospital. Sometimes there's nobody waiting and you are literally in and out (depending on medical situation). Other times it does get pretty busy but even then I believe the longest I waited out in lobby was 40 mins. My last visit was just this week as I was having abdominal pains and then started with a fever. Didn't get any results from this visit as they performed several tests and X-rays and everything came back normal. Therefore I was admitted to the hospital for a ctscan (which they don't have a machine for at this facility). Other than that my trips here have never been in vain. Highly recommend. read more

8:39PM rushed me in for a minor dog bite. Explained everything SO fast I was dizzy. Tetanus shot and quick vitals check, prescribed antibiotics for pick up on way out, and did not even clean or bandage my wound. Not even sure if my blood pressure was high or not as the machine took forever. The service and medical personnel have deteriorated at this location. Please find professional and apt personnel to service. You're better off going to the urgent care in coral way and 152nd Ave, or any Baptist hospital on Kendall. One star for the mere basics to charge my insurance BCBS. read more

My son had a knee injury and could not walk because of it. No one thought of ordering an ice pack and ibuprofen, and he was at this center for hours. That's basic stuff. They kept saying " all we can do is an X-ray ", then they say it's normal , no fractures, but IT WAS NOT. The Dr. kept telling my son it was normal so it was in his head , and to walk. We left to the ER. Now we know not only he did have a fracture , but also a torn ligament. I don't think I'll be returning here. It's best just to go to the ER. read more

EXCEPTIONAL service from the moment we walked in. Was taken in within 10 minutes and nurses started working and gathering tests immediately. X Ray results and CD were given within 15 minutes. Need to give special compliments to M.K. the X Ray tech. She was incredibly friendly and asked many relevant questions about medical history related to the reasons for the X Ray. Showed genuine concern and great care. If there was a rating just for her, I'd give her a 7/5 stars. read more

I had to return twice and of course they want to charge you for two separate visits even though they didn't give me anything or treat my fever and sore throat. 5 days later I'm still sick and they act like it's the first time I've been there. Stay away!!! My mom went with some indigestion and was told she needed to go to the ED by ambulance, because something wasn't right with her heart. Once in the ED, they found nothing. She followed up as an outpatient with a cardiologist and her heart was fine. He didn't understand why she was sent to the ED. She is now stuck with $2000 in ED copay. We sent a grievance but our appeal was declined. They will get their $2000 but won't get an additional penny out of our pockets from now on as we will be boycotting their entire system. Believe me, they'll be losing a great income with all our diagnostics and visits on a yearly basis. It's a shame that the Urgent Care is just a self referral source to squeeze money out of hard working people. Good luck staying in business while providing such inadequate care. We have many better options in Miami for healthcare. read more

I went to this urgent care around 9:30 on Thursday 3/14, I had been having flu symptoms for 2 days, I had a fever, awful body/joint aches, and swollen throat (but not sore throat). After a negative quick flu and strep test they gave me antibiotics for strep...but I was CLEARLY having flu symptoms. After arguing with the dr and asking for a z-pack or something else I was told no because the results came back negative, yet he decided to treat me for something else that also came up negative. Today 3/18 my boyfriend (who lives with me) had the EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS as I did so we went to the urgent care on sw 88th instead and he came up negative on both quick tests as well. The dr comes in and says he believes it's the flu and treats him for the flu. Long story short, GO TO THE URGENT CARE ON SW 88th. They are way more professional and actually know what they're doing. read more

If I could give a zero I would! I came in asking for a Covid 19 test because I followed the protocol set up by the CDC. Your front desk welcomed me with the expectations that I would be given one. I informed the nurse of my consultation with a Teller Doctor. The Teller Doctor highly suggested getting a Covid19 test because I am a teacher and my daughter works in a immune compromised cancer ward. Also, I was exhibiting all of the symptoms for Covid19. My symptoms are as followed that day: Heart rate 127 laying down Low grade fever Wheezing Cough Headache Blurred vision Dizziness Shortness of breath Green phlegm Large amount of Fluid being coughed Body aches Sore throat Pain in the back of spinal cord in neck All this occurred in a time span of 48 hours. I was x-ray for pneumonia (negative ) and nasal flu swabs which were also negative. The individual called a doctor heard my lungs and viewed my throat then proceeded to write a prescription of antibiotics but the teller Doctor had given me antibiotics already. I informed him of the reason I was there is to receive a covid 19 test. The doctor (quack) proceeded to say I did not meet the CRITERIA. I said again that am a teacher and my daughter works with immune comprised patients and the teller doctor had recommended to be tested. For a second time he said I did not fit the CRITERIA. My reply was "so what am I doing here , I saw a teller doctor and your front desk said I was going to be tested ." (Yes , I was tested for flu not covid19) So, he recommended I quarantine myself self for 14 days. My reaction was "what for? I don't have the flu because of the negative flu test and no covid19 test. So why the 14 days of quarantine?" So, a 59 year old diabetic with asthma and a 127 sitting heart rate with possible covid19 left your care unit. Oh yes, the quack said if I developed chest pain or could not breathe to go to the ER. So my understanding according to the quack is you have to be dead to be tested for covid 19. You see with a heartbeat of 127 laying down which is called tachycardia I was not supposed to leave your care because it might be critical. Any good doctor knows that except for a quack! I was only prescribed antibiotics. They did not even do albuterol because of the high heart rate. Your system robbed me with lack of treatment and lack of medical knowledge! Also, on the news today, heart issues with covid 19. By the way, I don't know why I had an accelerated heart rate for two day but I ran a marathon heart wise for two day. Don't the quacks in your urgent care unit read the CDC posting on MD bulletin that erythromycin and Chloroquine have been highly effective in treating covid19 in Italy and France. The quacks did not even mentioned that aspirin based products such as motrin and Advil were giving bad side effects results. I want my money back and I know I will not be getting it back from such a quackery care unit. So here is my last words. FUCK YOU. Viva teller doctors!!!!j read more

This was one of the most satisfying experiences I have ever had, medical or otherwise. The staff at reception was warm, welcoming, and completely efficient. My nurse was caring and worked with extreme diligence. I was diagnosed and before the treatment began the doctor stopped in to confirm everything. He was jovial and made me feel comfortable. They fraudulently charged me $600 for medication and shots that were never administered, took over an hour just to give me a flu test and Gatorade, and then after telling me the results would take 15 minutes, I waited almost another hour. I've been getting calls from debt collectors for months because of the fraud they committed. I have been here multiple times for myself and my family. All experiences have been great but this last time was definitely by far superb! My nurse was Lizzy and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She was so sweet, kind and very understanding with my daughter who is "special needs". My daughter entered the center in tears and fear, but thanks to Lizzy she left smiling and for the first time asked me to bring her back there if she gets sick again. Dr Stefano was great too!
