Dr. Ghosh takes visits at Midtown and Spivey Station offices, but scheduler again tries to set up appointment at Sandy Springs with a doctor I've never heard of. This is not Dr. Ghosh's fault, but Laureate office staff are hopelessly screwed up. When I finally saw Dr. Ghosh one week ago after an ER visit, he directed me to make a follow-up appointment 4 weeks later. Told by check-out personnel that no appointment is available in this timeframe. Heads need to roll at Laureate; office manager needs to be replaced.

When I've inquired about various therapies, he's always able to cite recent research as the basis for his recommendations rather than the typical "because I say so" of some MD's. He's by far the best primary care physician I've ever had and I'd highly recommend him to anyone.

After they couldn't provide me with anything, I decided to restart the process in the United States. Instead of being blinded by the prospects of having a baby, I decided to research fertility clinics extensively. I decided to go to Emory, since they had the highest success rates and I felt comfortable speaking with the physicians. (I reached out to ACRM, Shady Grove Fertility, Pathways Fertility, and Reproductive Biology Associates too). The other places did not have a good selection of frozen embryos to choose from and they tried to charge extra money for using 3rd party organization donor eggs. Also, a few were very pushy and tried to offer unnecessary services that I knew were not recommended based on YouTube videos I watched online. Right now, I'm passed the 1st trimester and I want to share my review before the baby comes - and I won't have the time. I wanted to give a HUGE thanks to the Patient SRVS Coordinator Lorraine Smith-Richards, Nurse Clinician Stephanie Soloway, Nurse Laura Frings (very good at keeping me updated by calling and emailing), Dr. Heather Hipp, Dr. Audrey Marsidi (embryo transferor, which was successful on the first try), and Dr. James Toner for making this process possible. I absolutely loved Dr. Toner, since he was very responsive and easy to talk to. I'm really grateful for their team for making the process easy and successful on the first try!

Surprised, I mentioned this to one of the nurses after the procedure and she said that Dr. Ogan prides himself on his blockers. I went on to have a prostatectomy with Dr. Ogan. He utilizes the da Vinci Surgical Robot and has a tremendous amount of experience with it. The surgery went flawlessly and I was up and walking later that same day. When he came to check on me, he was kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend Dr. Ogan to anyone, especially if you are considering a prostatectomy.
