We are so thankful for the prep! We moved from NY a year ago and started at the bee cave location…read moreand then switched to dripping springs once our house was built! The school is beautiful and new and kept clean. Each class has a lot of natural light which is important to me. They have a cafeteria for the older kids and a technology room with fun activities. They also have many big outdoor spaces for the kids to play and each space is for a certain age group. The staff at both locations are the biggest reason that we love the prep. All of the teachers are welcoming, warm, friendly and smart! The pre k and kinder teachers have been great as well and seem like they take great pride in what they do! Lastly the administration staff is amazing and easy to talk to! I love them anD again am so grateful for these amazing people who take care of my precious babies!!

Can't say enough praise for this place. We were so nervous to put our first child in daycare…read moreanywhere, even at 12 months. We were worried it was "too soon" and he "wasn't ready", but really it was us who were scared, our little boy LOVED the teachers and the other kids pretty much instantly. He's been there a year now and in the morning when we ask him if he wants to go to school he says "cool! cool!" (for school) and gets his PREP t-shirt and points to the letters on the front. He recognized that's his school shirt! I have to start at the top and say that the current manager there, Brittany, is hands down the best at her job (and we're talking now having seen her handle the pandemic shutdown and reopening and masks and all this craziness). Through it all, and all the personnel changes, Britanny never drops the ball when it comes to the care of the kids OR prompt responses to the parents with literally ANY concerns (for example, when my little one has a diaper rash problem for a few days, I literally call and ask them to put certain creams on in a certain order and then I'll even double check throughout the day and ask them to randomly check his diaper, etc etc - if you're reading this and think I'm crazy, you're not a mom :) - but seriously it's never even a bother. They're SO NICE at the front office. They totally understand my concerns and they TRULY want the kids to be happy. FACILITIES - clean (really clean!), new, modern TOYS - constantly introducing new toys/books/age-appropriate learning materials ACTIVITIES - they do SO MUCH stuff that I can't possibly even think of replicating at home. From outdoor play, to art projects, to sing-alongs and racing games... MANAGEMENT - just excellent. As I said, while some people have come and gone, everyone in the front office is always kind and responsive, and Brittany, the manager, runs a tight ship. I'm clearly overprotective (as you can tell by this review, I'm sure :) And I've never once had a situation where I thought Brittany wasn't 100% on it or ahead of it. TEACHERS - all have been really sweet! Again, some have been young college students here for the summer that went back to school, so there's some transition (which is totally normal for this business) but to their credit, from day one, all the teachers were really friendly and caring and responsive to my many many questions. (how long did my boy nap today?what did he eat? what are his favorite sing along songs? etc etc). Can't say I didn't like a single one. We literally had some very good reasons to MOVE out of state, and the top thing BOTH my husband and I instantly said was "not till all our kids finish daycare here! No way are we going to a different daycare". That's how strongly we feel that the PREP is just awesome...and our second kid will be starting there soon! If anything, wish I started them BOTH sooner..but you know, new mom guilt :)

An absolutely beautiful school with a well laid out curriculum and intense attention to detail. I…read moreknew I wanted to send my son here after touring dozens of pre-k's. This was the cleanest and safest ( private security ) option in Austin. The teachers genuinely care and the gym class/new inclosed playground is amazing for busy little bodies. The low student to teacher ratio is key, and they even bring in authors from the local book store for story time. Ashley is incredibly thoughtful and the care and love that has gone into the school is visible from day one.

There could never be words to describe how incredible Wonderwell is. Before having children, I used…read moreto think people who cared so much about preschool were silly. But now having two young kids, and knowing the importance of education at this important developmental stage, I know that there really is so much young children need to thrive. Wonderwell is not only the best preschool in Austin, but in the country in my opinion. My son went there for three years and my daughter for a year before we had to move out of state. Leaving this school was the hardest part. My son started when he was 2, he could barely speak and was SO shy. When we left, he was so confident, a true leader, and LOVED school. The teachers, the staff, the other families, are all above and beyond. I couldn't love or recommend Wonderwell more!

Such a loving, nostalgic, hidden gem! Great ratios, adorable weekly themes, extremely low turnover,…read moreand loving family environment. Miss Lori puts her heart and soul into this school and kids are well prepared for Kinder.

I've had my son at All Stars Academy for a whole school year now. I cannot say enough good things…read moreabout ASA and the owner and head teacher Lori. She has nearly 25 years experience teaching preschool children, and it is evident. I don't know how she has so much energy, but she is always smiling and excited to see the children. The director and other teachers are also wonderful. They love these kids and know how to show it. The school is run with an underlying Christian theme, such as "God made you, and he loves you very much." But attending students have various religious backgrounds. They love like Jesus, but leave the preaching to the parents. One thing I was looking for in a preschool was a good balance between academic learning and play. ASA hits the nail on the head. They present units of learning such as space, winter, farms, etc. on a level the children can understand. They study letter names and sounds, numbers, counting, adding by counting, colors, a little sign language, a little spanish, and do lots of accompanying crafts. The class is a mix of kids ages 3-5 (up to pre-k year). You might think the curriculum would either be too challenging for the littles or too easy for the bigger kids, but Lori and her staff do an amazing job of differentiating the curriculum. For those who Lori is preparing for kindergarten, she gives handwriting worksheets, but my son only did those if he wanted to because he still has another year before kindergarten. In February, Lori takes each pre-k kid aside to assess their reading levels and begins an individualized reading program. Each child is encouraged to take an on-level book home for practice. Lori is very encouraging, but not pushy because she recognizes that kids learn to read at all different paces. One of the most appealing things about ASA is their flexibility of hours. They have a regular program M-F 9am-1pm, but you may choose any combination of days. Extended hours are also available upon request. What other school does that? My son only goes 3 days a week, but if I need to add another day one week, I just pay a little extra for it then. Last couple of notes: The classroom is very bright and full of activities for free play. They go on parent-chaperoned field trips to places like the zoo, Crowe's Nest Farm, and a pumpkin patch. There are several parties and special events throughout the year, in addition to two formal performances.
