Extremely rude and just kept repeating no box means no box. Then the other girl yells at me for pointing out the other girl is rude and said she is new. Being new has nothing to do with having manners and being polite, rather than talking to somebody like they're stupid. She told me to calm down. Which is number one no no in service. I wasn't even upset. Annoyed at how I was being talked to, but not upset. Then they told me that Everything goes into one bag together. Had they said that at the beginning, I would've understood and that would've made sense. I keep emphasizing how they talked to me like I was an idiot. I would rate a negative number if I could. Since the advent of Ground taking over ALL deliveries the level of service has become something much less desired. The service I'm getting at my present location is quite bad. The driver is the most surly courier I've encountered ever including Amazon and UPS. The packages from the current individual look like they were bathed in a dust bowl. I can't bring them in the house to open because they are filthy. She delivered one day, recently, from a rental van, and the package was clean. I guess the managers don't do check rides any longer. This pains me to see this happening since I spent such a long time employed by FedEx.

They have told us that they do this for many of their clients. This next example is way over and above. I had picked up my mail a few days before Christmas (2025). It was near closing time. A few minutes later, Cindy, the owner, called to say my brake, tail, and license plate lights were out. This might have prevented an accident, as I was planning to take my wife out that night to see the Christmas decorations and lights. I am very thankful for that call and thankful to have a GREAT local business that cares and provides great service to the community.

She was super friendly and we would want her to be our guide next time too! Board and Brush is located in the historic Whiskey Row Alley and is surprisingly bigger than it looks. Tables seat several people at a time and are perfect for groups. We were a group of four (celebrating a birthday!) and due to the projects we pre-selected (completed during online booking process), we were seated at two tables. Aprons and all project materials were neatly placed on the tables when we arrived and after signing in, we were up and creating! The entire experience was very engaging and super fun. Projects are selected and paid for during the online reservation process. It's very easy to get caught up in looking through all the various projects available and most cost the same either way the exception of a few that require an additional fee. My patriotic tray was an additional $5 due to the required hardware, but once you see the quality of the wood, it all makes sense. Nothing is made from particle board or cheap lumber. This is a great place for a girls day/night out and for bookings made after 4PM, wine is also allowed! I truly enjoyed creating my project and hope to return in the near future.
