Not only did the representatives on the phone tell me that it would not affect my account but they also told me for a week and a half that my account would not be affect either if the cashiers check bounced or went through. They decided that they would close my account send me a check in 4 weeks and that I could never open another account with them. I don't understand how they would treat a victim of fraud like that. This bank is just another corporation looking for their bottom line. Even though they claim your protected from fraud by them. Not even to my worse scene my would I recommend Citibank at this point. And I want everyone to k ow that they Falsely claim to protect you from fraud. If you get scammed they will abandon you and ignore it. They haven't even attempted to look into who the person who sent me the check is. I provided a phone number, the address on the fed ex envelope the check was sent in and the name I was given by the person attempting to buy the couch. I have text messages as proof, but they disregarded that too. And they told me that filing a police report would be pointless.

She answered all of my questions about the accounts they offer. She in detail explained to me the best and easiest ways to avoid the monthly fee of only 10 dollars. I have stopped into many other branches aside from this one and everyone is so nice to me. I calling the customer service is a pleasure not like with Bank of America. I call and the hold is so much shorter. I am very satisfied with this choice in bank so far. Also they have ATMs in so many places, Publix, gas stations and malls. Very convenient!

It is not on the customer, if a phone number was listed as a home phone and not a cell phone when that information was updated by the bank. To tell the customer that we can't complete your request for a cashiers check after identifying all forms of ID but can't send a pin happens to be the most preposterous thing I've ever heard. Then proceeding to say I had to wait in the 45 min lobby just to get someone to change my phone number from home to mobile. --------------- To prove my point, I went to the Bank of America in Sunrise. I just closed my 6 year account with them because…read moremy husband and i went in to apply for an auto loan and even though our credit is in good standing, we were applying with all the documentation needed and we took the time to set up an appointment the "specialist Yusimy Pena" ( who filled out the application and when asked a question didnt even look at our faces) didnt even put in the correct loan amount which made the process longer. It took the bank 4 days to have an answer for us and we were denied at the end of the day and requested further proof of income even after we switched the car information to get it a newer car. No explanation was provided from the "specialist" who by the way sent us an email spelling out in spanish her native language the word "cualifica" which for the non spanish speakers reading this, it does not exist. Please note that we were asking for a very small loan amount and were devasted, thank God we went to the dealer directly and drove away with the car of our dreams at a great price and even better interest rate.

Recently I had a claim denied for reasons I did not understand. Three withdrawals of 100 dollars each, at the same ATM dispenser were made with one of our cards. We did not make those withdrawals. WE ARE SURE 100% The BANK denied my claim and gave me no possibilities of recourse. We were frustrated, disappointed, and surprised AT THE SAME TIME. I am 80 years old, and a bank client for over 35 years. Indeed, I expected a better understanding on their part. My only option was to terminate my account and walk away. ONE employee, whose name is Bianca was very kind to suggest trying again with the claim department. She didn't want to see me terminate my association with the bank. I did, but it was a waste of time. I immediately proceeded to terminate my account. I would suggest that my family and friends do the same. This behavior does not put WELLS FARGO on a list of customer friendly Banks. I would recommend to all who read this review to think carefully before doing business with WELLS FARGO bank. I may write more negative reviews later. this ifs just the beginning.
