This was a six month process that should have only taken a month. He applied for a USDA loan for which the house wasn't even qualified for and I wasn't notified of that until a few days before closing and five months into the process along which he made NUMEROUS mistakes that ended costing me thousands of dollars and also caused me to become homeless and have to live in a tent for months because of his mistakes and the amount of time that it took for his mistakes to ruin my life. She may have done everything correctly but she has a way of instilling panic in everybody, the borrower included. I lost my job after getting preapproved. These things happen. I found another job and we continued the process. She also tried to convince me that "pre-qualified" was the same as "pre-approved". WTH? Sorry Liz, I don't mean to tell you your business, but they're not the same. After demanding to get pre-approval she finally got it done. She makes you feel like she's doing you a favor by allowing you to pay her to provide a home loan. You feel like you work for her. I'm not a dramatic guy, and I'm not prone to exaggeration ... I'm in technology sales and I deal with boardroom presentations and daily forecast calls and stress like that. I threw up twice after dealing with Liz on this loan. If you go with Prime Lending (Kelly Ludwick is a rock star) do NOT go with Liz Ciardi. I can't emphasize that enough. Liz, if you're reading this, please know that I'm a Christian guy and non-vindictive. Don't do this to your customers any more. Life is too short to be this way with people.
