But, they don't cash US Savings Bonds. I couldn't believe it. They also charge for them to withdraw money if you want a check. It's only I think $5. Or $7 dollars. I thought a bank would offer those services without cost. They do have some really service minded tellers that are very customer oriented and customer friendly, and they do the best that they can, but the bank makes it difficult. I have been accepting of all those things. I am a loyal type person and have been sticking with them because of their tellers but I am about to leave completely. I thought they would continue to be like a small town banks, but their policies make it hard for me to remain loyal.

I set up ACH auto payments, per a lady who worked at a branch and was told; it would automatically withdraw and even if it was on a Sunday, I would not get charged a late fee. Well, low and behold late fee after late fee; just because the payment date fell on a Sunday and it was not a business day. This is a total scam and they vampire fees from people all they can. I have ACH payments on other loans with other banks and this never happens; it's deemed paid on that date. I spoke to a lady name Dulce on 5/15/23 with Veridian and she could care less. She even hung up on me as the Call was coming to an end. I repeat do not use this bank Veridian Credit Union.

This place use to feel like family. They have gotten way to big too fast! I use to be able to call in and get things immediately taken care. Recently they started adding overdraft fees on pending transactions before they even hit the account so you can have money in your account and still have over draft fees even if you have a check waiting to clear for deposit. There use to be no delay in deposited funds but now they have some outside company helping with deposits on the app so you never know when things will be deposited. UGH!

in the past year due to my student being bullied we decided that he go to school virtually…read more unfortunately, i had to leave my full time job and be a stay at home mom. this impacted my income greatly. i called veridian several times throughout the year in order to make payment arrangements. the first attempt was at the top of the year. when i requested a payment delay and was informed that i would have to pay a delayment fee which would not count towards my payment. i thought to myself how is this a payment delay? i am paying a fee to delay a payment, the payment will not be put towards my balance and after the delay i will still owe more and be further in the rear than i already am. the second attempt was when i attempted to pay my outstanding balance. at this time i was informed that my payment could not be processed until i have valid car insurance. at this point i explained my circumstance again and said i could only afford to pay the car note. i was then denied my payment to be processed. the represenatives disposition wasnt very hospitiable either. i asked her to look back at how long i have had an account with them and review my payment history. i explained to her that my payment history reflects that prior to being unemployed i was making puncutal payments and was insured.she had no response and no remorse. i explained to her how back in 2024 my car was in the shop for several months at a time and i ended up paying out of pocket because kia wouldnt cover the finances. she explained to me that i could possibly be reiumbursed by my warranty. however, when i spoke with the warranty department i was told that since they didnt authorize the repairs they will not reiumburse me. sad part is the vehicle is a 2019 and still be financed. so the fact that i paid out of pocket and cant be reiumbursed is insulting in itself. it seems that this company does not value their loyal customers and refuse to work with their customers. ive never dealt with a company who is more invested in the insurance company receiving payment rather than themselves. i feel that i am shit out of luck with no solutions or alternatives available.

I go to the credit union normally once a week to make two deposits. Now they don't want you to do multiple transactions so the line doesn't back up and I get that, so I started making one deposit then driving around to make the other one. Now I'm being told that at this branch they will only allow 1 drivethrough transaction a day. Even if there is no one else in line! That's crazy. Sometimes a business needs to go to their bank more often and you shouldn't have to go inside for a quick deposit. The rest of the branches are all friendly and excellent at their jobs and get 5 stars. It's just this one branch that sucks.

Worst place I kept my money! Deposit a check and did what they were allowed putting a 3 day hold…read morebut giving me $500 of the $3500. I wouldn't receive the rest of the check deposit until their hold time was up to make sure they were paid for the check. I waited the days they told me put on my deposit, then withdrew and used the remaining money left of the check deposit from 5th 3rd Bank. Thought all was good. I waited the demanded DuPaco time and followed their rules of a high dollar check deposit mandatory wait time. After close to month, I received notice that I owed for a NSF check return. When I disputed it, 1) I followed their rules to check deposit and waited their designated days. Nothing was indicated it was returned for NSF from 5th/3rd Bank to me at the end of what DuPaco demanded of me to make sure all was good. It wasn't my fault for their delay on doing their job and business. 2) That's what FDIC is for. I didn't receive any help with what to do with the situation, not even a tip from any DuPaco employee, even though they advertise customer support, members come first and are treated with all available options to get the Member what they want, what they are needing, and with respect for the Members privacy. Completely all lies in my case, I probably won't ever have good remarks from DuPaco and Refused ANY AND ALL REQUESTS FROM MY NAME. I never felt like I was a member, liked customer who was NEVER treated with respect or given the best customer service or support of any kind, especially positive help with DuPaco on my side helping with all options available used. I got here's the paperwork for what you owe DuPaco and we closed your account. Pay DuPaco or they will ll show moist negative results until you comply. I still haven't but I did contact FDIC myself and advised my claim.
