This dry cleaners on Blues Point Road has a neat self-service option…read more It works as follows: 1) Take your credit card and swipe it in the machine. The machine will ask if you're dropping off or picking up. Select dropping off. 2) The machine will deliver you a receipt and open up a drop box with bags. Take a bag, insert your clothes and your receipt in the bag (with your mobile number on the receipt) and drop your bag in the drop box. Drop off complete. 3) You will receive a text message notifying you when your clothes are ready (within one or two days). 4) Return to the machine and insert your same credit card. Again, the machine will ask if you're dropping off or picking up. Select picking up. 5) Select which item you've come to pick up and the automatic hanger will retrieve your item. A little door opens and voila! Your clothes are delivered. VIP Dry Cleaners is more expensive than your average dry cleaner ($11 or $12 for one pair of pants), but you're paying extra for the nifty service and the clothes are always perfectly preened and cleaned. If you go when the shop is open and pay cash, you'll receive a discount (I think about 10%).
