The store is always clean and well-organized, and if you're just browsing and don't need help the staff will leave you alone to shop - no annoying, overly aggressive sales people. I love that they've added in Jeff's Guy Shop too, so my boyfriend is less annoyed with my shopping. It is a bit pricey though. It's also in a great location right downtown, so you can stop in on your way down to, or back from, the lake. I stop by Joelle's every time I visit my parents in Burlington in summer.

But 3 stars for selling- you really don't get much $ and I'm not sure it's worth the 30 min wait for them to go through your items, only to receive $8 and 75% of your items returned back to you. Suggestions for improvement would be faster sorting of items you drop off and bin inside or just outside the store to donate your remaining items they didn't buy ( if you so wish). Just make the process easier to sell and donate, so you feel like it's all settled when you leave the store and you didn't spend a large chunk of time for a small amount of $. Some prices are on the high side. Some are reasonable. I enjoy looking through different brands and labels in the same store. My first experience at this store will also be my last. I…read morebrought in 27 items to sell, and none of them were accepted. All of my items were in excellent condition and from well-known name brands. The manager told me they were declined because they had gone out of style. I find that difficult to believe, especially after looking around the store and seeing clothing that appeared to be older in style than the items I brought in. Based on what I observed, the explanation I was given did not seem consistent with the merchandise currently being sold. While that was disappointing, I understand that resale stores have their own buying criteria. The bigger issue was that when I got home, I realized my suede belt was missing. I called the store, and the employees said they would check thoroughly and speak with the manager, since she was the one who had gone through my items. One of the sales associates even asked the manager to call me, but she refused. When I eventually spoke with the manager, she denied ever seeing the belt with my jacket and skirt and simply said she was sorry, without offering any effort to investigate further or resolve the situation. I'm extremely disappointed--not only were none of my items accepted, but one of my belongings was lost, and the customer service afterward was very poor. Based on this experience, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this store.
