Tried this place out last time I was in Camden. As you know Camden is not a big place with many options. I believe this is your only choice. However with how spoiled I am with living close to Orange County and going to Little Saigon for pho, this place was actually okay. It scratched the itch till I could go back home. We have been trying to find orange chicken for my husband since we moved to Arkansas and finally stumbled across this amazing little restaurant. Everything is made fresh and homemade and you can tell. Egg rolls were crisp and delicious. Hubby said his orange chicken was even better than his favorite place in Phoenix! My kung pao chicken was very flavorful and the dish was well balanced with meat to vegetable ratio. We will definitely be coming back soon to try more of their dishes. read more

This is a family owned establishment with a unique story behind the origin of Bamboo Cafe. Make sure you ask about it when you visit. The food is top tier and authentic Vietnamese (try the Vietnamese coffee). Yes, it's pricey. But what isn't today? They have to cover overhead, staff, etc.. but with the quality food and service you get here it's well worth the cost. I'll definitely be back here more than once. read more

Was not expecting this in Camden AR! The place is a little dated but seemed clean. The waitress was very nice and was handling the whole place by herself. I had the eye of round pho, & my husband had the brisket pho. I have eaten pho all over the US but this is the BEST pho broth I have ever eaten. I took off a star for portion size and price. Both bowls were very light on the meat. We ordered an order of fried shrimp to get a little more protein and it was fresh, crispy and delicious. Lunch for 2 was $48 which seemed a little steep for Camden, AR. I will go back and order the broth to take home and make my own version of pho! read more

Ok, I will admit, Vietnamese cuisine in Camden......... We took a shot and I'm glad we did... The food: - Light and filling - Not overly salty - Appears to be made to order rather than out of a batch scooped onto your plate. - Fast : 15mins to-go order was ready... A plus for sure! - Received everything we ordered and didn't have to check the food before I left. Restaurant/Staff: - Chill vibe even at the bar - Clean Presentation - Seems like a good place to have a drink after work with your friends. - Using Ipads to take orders is a plus... Keeps errors down in the ordering process. - Staff appeared to be in the ball and very attentive to the customer that they were with rather than allowing themselves to get interrupted. I love the food at bamboo Cafe in Camden I wish they'd open one in Eldorado, Arkansas. I was there Thursday and enjoyed the fresh spring rolls and a bowl of noodle soup. Never disappoints. Sometimes service is slow but the food is excellent so I just call it in to go.

After moving back to Camden recently we finally got around to trying out this relatively new cafe. Had following: Jasmine hot tea and pot stickers. Yum. Mongolian chicken and shrimp plates with a side of fried rice. Great cook here. And our waitress Missy was quite helpful explaining how each dish was made. I've only been there twice. The Bamboo rice special was recommended by John Cox of HGHS and was fabulous both times. I've been looking for most of my adult life for a similar rice dish comparable to Tony's in Southwest Little Rock from 30 years ago, and I do believe the Bamboo Cafe has an equal one. I was staying in Camden for work again and I heard about a new Vietnamese restaurant that was getting rave reviews. I decided to check it out and I was not disappointed! I had the lemongrass sautéd beef vermicelli noodle bowl and it was very tasty. I lived in California most of my life and have been to plenty of Vietnamese restaurants. This one stacks up with the best of them. The service was great, the owner was very hospital and the ambiance was splendid. I went at least weekly when they first opened. The food is excellent! The service is always great. I was skeptical that a Vietnamese restaurant could last in Camden, but they have, even through Covid. The problem I have, which has been mentioned by others, is that they started charging an extra $1 if you pay with a credit card. Who does that in 2020? And they don't tell you upfront. They just add it to your bill when you pay. And their prices are already more expensive than what you will pay for similar dishes in Little Rock or NWA. So I stopped going because of this. If you don't mind paying $15 for a small bowl of Pho (by the time you add tip, tax, and the credit card fee), then you will be satisfied here. Perhaps it is worth this price to be able to get pho without having to drive to Little Rock, but they could at least tell you up front that they will be tacking on $1 if you pay with a card. read more

Finding a pho place in south Arkansas is a bit challenging especially one that is so good. I'm glad we tried this one.
