The clothes may be vintage, but the quality is amazing. If your into mens vintage clothing, there are very few shops of this quality in the UK. It is small, but that does not matter as half the job has been done for you with only the best pieces on sale. It is like a whole new world of the past when you walk through the narrow doorway. A word of advice, do not take small children in there as they do not like people picking up their goods as most of it is antiques. They've got something for everyone in there, even if you do not like antiques. I saw a bunch of comics from my youth, a few action figures, tonnes of clothes, books and memorabilia scattered all over the place. The Haynes Market is a maze but a fun one. There is stairs from the first floor to the ground floor where you will discover a few more stalls to browse from. My friends got to wrapped up in the market that we spend ages in there looking at things, it's just amazing. Haynes Market is what a market in London should be like!

I finally went inside and wasn't disappointed there is so much to choose from the staff are very friendly and I brought quite a few coins and stamps as these are the things I collect and am interested in. The stock varies from biographies and historical artifacts (mainly right wing paraphernalia- a Daily Mail series on the modern monarchy, an enormous hardback on the Third Reich and a Thatcher biography) Amongst all the military-themed bits of tat, there are actually some very good finds- there were some cool old 1950s Christmas cards, some 1960s newspapers in excellent condition and some beautiful vintage postcards. It is a funny old place but definitely worth a rummage through.

Tucked away in Greenwich Market is this cute little two-shop vintage/second hand establishment. It's well laid out and un-cluttered. I loved this shop for all the army/military gear it has and if I was still into my Am-Dram I would be here every week to steal new stock for costume. Now I didn't purchase anything here on my visit, because I am poor, but I did see some great items at reasonable prices. Like most vintage shops its got your mock/real furs and granny jumpers and tweed jackets. However it has some great choice pieces and lovely little bits and bobs.

They don't have a big range of clothing, and was nice to see that you don't have to rummage through stuff. The left side of the store was more elegant, more of the 1930s and 40s era. The clothes are pricey a dress could easily be £55 but the quality of the garment is well preserved. If I'm in Greenwich again, ill shall pop and who knows I might come away with something.

Circa Vintage is a great vintage shop in Fulham…read more.. They sell really top notch vintage clothes. I got a really gorgeous 20s style dress here. It was a little over-priced but I love it to pieces. It's a really small shop, very boutique like. I like the feel of the place, it's a little independent shop and they change their stock every few weeks or so... I'd definitely check this out if you are a proper vintage lover, it rocks!

They only thing that fails is the price, £15 skirts, £17 for dresses, it just seems a little steep for a second hand store. Also, can you haggle in a charity shop or is that rude? I went here with Larissa D and we questioned this as the skirt she wanted to buy was missing a button. Anyway, it seems to be that Brixton's hipsters have forgotten about this gem as it stocks some awesome 60s and 70s clothing, leather bags and quirky shirts. I just wish it was a little cheaper!
