Excellent service, pastries made in house - you can see them make the treats! Bottom of Pratek Hotel. Close to Sagrada. Convenient. Clean. Great plant decor.

Had a great latte and chocolate croissant this morning from Baluard. Good place for a quick bite to eat early in the morning.

3.5 stars They definitely have some good looking pastries and a view of the oven and kitchen from the outside which is what draws people in. I got a chocolate croissant which was really light and flaky and was filled with a decent amount of chocolate. Also got a cheese cake square. It had chocolate cake bottom and was subtly sweet. It reminded me more of a Japanese cheese cake than a heavy NY style cheese cake. Just depends what you're looking for. Workers were friendly and spoke English which made it easy for me.

This bakery is open and ready to serve patrons early, making it a convenient place to grab breakfast before a long day. We were there around 8am and there were plenty of sweet and savory choices available already. We got the mortadella sandwich, a snecken panses (a less sweet version of a danish?) and a cappuccino. Each item was good, but my personal favorite was the mortadella sandwich as I prefer savory over sweet items in the morning. A great way to have a quick efficient breakfast. Service is fast and friendly. Note that there were are no seats, but there are plenty of benches in the pedestrian area of the main road. Go have your food there so you can watch the city gradually wake up and start their day.

Café in Eixample with excellent pastries and coffee. Around 3-4 tables outside and 2 tables inside. There was a line when we went around 10:30 on a Sunday but it moves quickly. The staff were friendly. Hazelnut croissant (5/5 stars): A good choice for Nutella lovers! Flaky croissant with chocolate drizzled over one side and hazelnuts on the other. There is a bit of chocolate hazelnut filling but not too much to be overwhelming. Apple tart (4.5/5 stars): Strong apple flavor and the pastry was delicious, though thinner than expected. Chocolate croissant (5/5 stars): Warm and gooey on the inside. Crispy, flaky, and gorgeous on the outside. The coffee was excellent and there was freshly pressed orange juice as well.

When I find multiple receipts from this place I know it was good. We had the pastries and the coffee and the sandwiches and it was all wonderful! This was a gem. Not only that, the people working are wonderful, cheerful, helpful. The place has a nice vibe to it so it's easy to spend a lot of time just enjoying the food and the company and the conversation. Highly recommended.

Perfect for morning walk exploring the city. I brought a nice mortadella and truffle sandwich, apple pastries and coffee back to the flat. Will stop by again tomorrow.

Great place to nibble on a pastry and drink coffee. Sandwiches were good and they had 'pizza' as well. Nice cozy atmosphere with plenty of windows and greenery. Prices are reasonable.

I must have gone here almost everyday while I was in Barcelona. Great sandwiches and salads. The pastries were to die for.

While we were in Barcelona rushing to make an appointment I noticed this shop out of the corner of…read moremy eye.. it looked so good that we decided to come back just to try some of their treats and boy they did not disappoint. We tried one of their chocolate desserts, a chocolate chip cookie and a matcha drink. All of them were great.. so great that I ended up buying a pistachio brookie to go. To this day we regret not buying more stuff to bring back home. The service was great and quick. The place was clean and cute to dine in with a few tables! Overall I'd definitely stop by if I'm in Barcelona again!

Had to try a gluten free bakery while in Barcelona of course (one of many). Chok is for chocolate…read morebut they didn't sell any actual chocolates... but there was a rotation of special flavored cinnamon rolls, rookies, brownies, mini cakes, cookies, and cheesecakes. There were a few loaves of bread but mostly there were those sweets and it seems they have those all the time. We got a regular cinnamon roll because the flavored ones didn't have as much of the frosting on it which is the best part, and a pistachio cream rookie... no im not sure what a rookie is but it looked like a Levain cookie (the famous one from NY) as it was a mountain of a dessert. We had both treats heated up... although they weren't actually hot lol. The cinnamon roll was on par with others I've had, maybe even slightly drier but the frosting was amazing and I still enjoyed it a lot. The rookie was quite decadent and the inside was an almost cake texture? Still quite tasty but I think both would've knocked it out of the park if they were actually hot and ooey gooey. Five stars because it wasn't bad but I can't say I'm super impressed. I will be going to other gf bakeries over this one
