I saw Dr Skinner and she was awesome. Very thorough. She took the time to answer my questions and I was reviewed my test results with me. She also checked the initial test results and completed testing based on those results. I received a copy of my prescription that I can have filled at the optical center of my choice.

First off the selection of glasses consist of maybe 10 pairs. They look like cheaper than something at the dollar store. It takes forever to get someone to even notice you even though its by appointment. I ordered some transition lenses for women. After waiting 2 weeks, or more I received a mens thick librarian glasses. I am guessing they are the most cheap and plain kind wit fingerprints. Of course the prescription is incorrect and they are not shaded. Not only have I not heard of the brand of glasses but the kid at the office was supposed to have written down all of this and I wasted a long time waiting for the computer to catch up. The staff is also rude. When I called every phone number, no one let me into the office. I stood outside and got no reaction from the staff. I came in because other patients were leaving. When I was let in the dude in charge of handing out my glasses announced what a rude person I am to go inside without calling. So now I didn't only lose a few hours and paid for an appointment but Im stuck with hideous trash for glasses.

Despite reviews of several years back, my experience was surprisingly efficient and encouraging!…read more Upon discovering one of my retinas was torn , my ophthalmologist recommended AND scheduled me to be seen with this group the very next morning! There was the expected paperwork to fill out, of course -- the friendly receptionists called it a 'book' -- then, before I expected it, within 20 minutes (despite a crowd in the waiting area), I was called back for the start of the process. Examination, dilation, retinal photography -- all done within another 20 minutes -- then a brief wait before being set with a wonderful doctor who explained everything that had happened to my retina and how they would remedy it IMMEDIATELY -- laser surgery to cauterize the tear and prevent it from expanding plus some anchoring. Ten-minute process. WOW! The kind and caring doctor was empathetic, describing what minor discomforts would occur, yet encouraging. He described and explained everything that would be done and what care I would need to do for myself following the procedure. The problem being small (caught very early), he was able to use a quicker process. Now, the actual laser experience was not horrible, not fun by any means, yet it was very brief. The entire visit took barely two hours! I am so relieved to know my vision is saved! With careful instructions on what to do / not to do, (I am to take it very easy -- no bending over or heavy lifting so as not to pressure the repair before it's locked in) I will return for a brief follow-up in two weeks. They have an incredible team, friendly, helpful, highly efficient. I offer my highest recommendation for their services! Thank you, Retina Associates of Little Rock!
