This shop has cleverly called itself 'Baltic Trader,' rather than Boleslawiec trader, which is the place in Poland where their pottery actually comes from. They stock traditional Polish 'eyespot' pottery, which is pottery decorated - normally in blue and white- by hand stamping complex spotted patterns. The pottery is hard-wearing, it can be microwaved, dishwashered, and so on. It's very pretty, but it is quite expensive. A small teapot came in at about £15, mugs about £8. They have a very large collection, with all different patterns. It's quite thick pottery, not thin china. It would be very nice for a rustic country kitchen such as you would find in 'Country Living.' read more
