On my third trip to Barcelona I wanted to see something more: It's just been great. We were picked-up on time with my girlfriend in Barcelona city centre by Josep our driver (we had quite some fun with him) : he took us like half an hour away from Barcelona. Then coffee break which was quite helpful as we had no time to have the breakfast at the time we left the hotel. He then drove 5 more minutes and we arrive at what they call the "take off field": a beautiful kind of small hermitage: the pilot was already preparing the balloon. Once the balloon was up (impressive), we all get in (6 people in total): the pilot gave us the safety instructions and 3 minutes later we were flying or better said floating in the air...just fantastic. Views were amazing on the country side, some little clouds in the sky what added a touch of magics to the whole scenery. the sensation of being out of the reality for a while, no noise at all (except the burner of the balloon and the dogs barking sometimes). the pilot gave us explanation with a quite good English. Once we landed, Josep was there: we packed back the balloon and after we came back to the "take off field", we had some sandwiches cooked with the burner: just fun and...good! with some cava. we came back to Barcelona tired but really pleased with the whole morning.
