It's definitely not a cheap experience but you'll find that with any hot air balloon ride. We were picked up in Barcelona at the right time and place, and taken out to a hotel/cafe about 45+ min away. We had a quick coffee and met up with the other couple that would be up in the air with us. We got back in the van and drove about 5 minutes to the site. Our balloon was there but the guys were worried about the wind so they did a test and we ended up having to change locations to a second area near a small town about 20 or so minutes away. Then the fun of filling up the balloon begins! It's a very interesting experience. The whole time in the balloon is maybe an hour but I suppose that's all you really need. It's very peaceful and serene. I was kind of hoping that we would see something a little bit more interesting. Once we were done, we had some sandwiches and cava and were taken back into the city. It was a very long morning but overall a very enjoyable experience. Our guides were fun and taught us a lot about ballooning and the fun people they've met/experiences they've had. Very important note - if you have a smaller bladder, there is NOWHERE to go after the cafe.

Robert M. and Frank T. took the time to take the kids and me here. It was so crazy packed. It's actually crazier than the Rose Parade. But I think the kids loved this more. I will say my son LOVED it more. My daughter had so much fun trying to catch the candy at the end. She said "This was longer than the Disneyland parade and better." People brought there ladders also. So about the parade it is about seeing three kings, giving up your pacifiers, giving your letter to the three king helpers, lots dancing, singing, floats and the hot air balloons. The actors interact with the kids by giving high fives and hand stamps. The costumes, make-up and decorations were AMAZING. The parade I would say took about almost 1.5 hours to see. With all the different floats and some little pause here and there. But one thing that was cool was at the end of the parade the cleaning crew was fast to clean. Oh yeah and at the beginning there was a cleaning crew for the horses poo. If your ever in Barcelona, Spain during January 5. You need to take some time out to check this parade out. But make sure you go to the bathroom because it is long or bring a cup to pee for the kids JUST KIDDING!!! But yes make the time to check this parade out. OH yeah and bring a big huge funnel to catch the candy it shoots up in the air or the people literally throw it in at you. This happened to me many times since I was in front.
