Mr. Marshall, that does the upholstery work, has done several of my antique pieces and his workmanship is great. He pays attention to detail and the character of the piece shows through. The most recent items that I took to The Upholstery Shop were two antique wicker rockers that belonged my great grandmother and a small iron table that was painted gold a number of years ago. (I have posted before and after pictures) These items date back to the late 1800's, and have been passed down through my grandmother and mother, who, at some point, painted them brown over the original white. They have been in storage for a number of years, and I wanted to use them, but they were pretty wobbly and unsteady. Mr. Marshall made them sturdy and recovered them in the fabric that I provided and they turned out great and they are very useable. I told them when I took the little gold table to them that I really didn't know what could be done with it but Mr. Marshall worked his magic and I love my little iron table. Joel also freshened up my family pedestal table and chairs and made them look like new. "Thank you" to Joel and his crew for a job well done - I would definitely recommend!!

I'd give this place a negative star if I could!!! Where do I begin...first off this place is nasty…read more I mean as in dirty. Years old cobwebs in windows, trash everywhere; dogs roaming around inside. Second, they are unorganized. We were getting a motorhome seat, the visors, and the dash redone and the first four fabrics we picked out were out of stock at the place they order them from. No one inside this business cares to maintain an accurate selection of what's in stock. Now on to the first item they completed...the Captains chair. It's was pretty...from a glance. After seeing the work that was done on Bruce's own car seat I expected the same quality of work with my own stuff. Not the case. The rear bottom edges of fabric were loose, visible staples on armrests, the stitching was sloppy and the fabric was scratched. So what was Bruce's fix action?...to knock off $100. Obviously it was never about the money and we would've paid full price had he fixed the issues. He just flat out told us he was done with it and not working on it anymore. So we bought the fabric from him that we needed and will pay full price somewhere to finish and fix his sloppy and careless work. He just seems like he doesn't care anymore. Steer clear of this place. You definitely get what you pay for here!!!

I have been three times, and was told each time to either come back, or they couldnt match my seat…read morematerial. He said he could only get vinyl, he couldnt do the black leather. When I said okay, just put vinyl, he came up with another excuse. Half the cars on the road have black leather.... just doesnt want my business. Got the job done at nearly half the price (no exaggeration) in another locale..
