If dancing had a secret weapon, her name would be Rosa!…read more Rosa is an absolute rockstar of a dance instructor. She somehow manages to make every lesson feel like a party while also leveling up your skills without you even realizing it. Her energy is contagious, her patience is endless, and her ability to break down complicated moves is pure magic. Thanks to Rosa, we've gone from "counting steps and hoping for the best" to actually feeling confident and having FUN on the dance floor. She pushes you, encourages you, and celebrates every little win right alongside you. If you want to laugh, learn, and become a better dancer all at the same time -- Rosa is your person. We seriously can't recommend her enough!

My fiancé and I were toying with the idea of getting some professional tips for our wedding's first…read moredance. We found Dance Vision online and it was close by our home! They have several locations in the DFW area. Neither of us are dancers so we thought it would be a fun time to try something new! For $50 (total), both my fiancé and I received two 30-minute private dance lessons with an instructor. Based on the song we chose, the Dance Studio came up with the dance. For our first session, our instructor was Tre. He was so much fun! He made the lesson super digestible and easy to follow. We had a lot of fun making mistakes along the way, but ultimately was able to pick up the basics by the end of the 30 min session! For our second session, our instructor was Cristina. She was very nice, and added a little extra spunk to our dance routine to make it look more natural, and exciting. By the end of our second 30 minute lesson, we were able to get down the basics of the routine to practice from home. At the end of each lesson the instructors will sit down with you and recap what you've learned. They are truly passionate about dancing, caring, and patient! Depending on your dance skills/level, the instructors will map out a number of set lessons for you prior to your wedding. This can look very different from person to person/couple to couple. They recommended 20 lessons for us (a couple private classes per week), but we ultimately decided we didn't have that much time between work and other commitments to dedicate for a 1 min dance. Additionally, the twenty ~45 min lessons came out to be ~$2K, and we felt like that money could have been used elsewhere in our lives at the moment. However, in addition to paying for the private classes, your tuition will include group dance lessons that you can attend for free. We had a great time, and appreciated the time and effort each instructor gave us!

The training is very classical and solid, and the school environment is very supportive, with little inter-student drama. It's a haven to any late-starter, because of the one-one-one correction and small class sizes. Once I finished my placement class, I was placed in the school's conservatory program, a skill-based system of ten pre-professional levels that can go from a 6-year-old beginner to a young professional. The pre-ballet classes are top-notch from what I've seen, and the discipline of ballet is gently built up from there. One hundred percent recommend!

My son has ADHD and they not only embraced him, but develped his technique and he thrived! My daughter is very young and only did the recreation program, but all of the teachers (especially Tammy and cooper) were absolutely amazing! Because of DI both of my kids are way above their age level in all genres from just one year of dancing there. The staff is extremely professional, and the owner is just so on top of everything at the studio. The best part of the studio is that none of the teachers or staff (Including the owner) get involved with ANY of the drama at the studio. They place the kids where they will do the best in technique and maturity wise. The only reason why we left is because we moved out of state, however we are going back every year for some of the conventions they participate in so we have the chance to dance with them. They care about molding your dancer into a professional dancer, not just a competitive dancer who stops dancing at 18 when they age out of competitions. They work with the seniors in getting them into the right collages and help them earn scholarships to pay for tuition. The owner and staff are well connected as well to get your foot in the door if you want to go more towards the entertainment industry. The ballet program is top notch with dancers that get into the most prestigious dance schools. (They have placed at least 3 dancers at Juilliard last year). They also have great adult ballet, tap, and hop hop classes that are so much fun! If you have the opportunity to go to DI do it! It was the best decision for our whole family made in dance we have ever made.
