This year, I decided to approach Michelin dining differently, focusing on the chef's vision rather than portion size, and Va et Vient delivered on every level. The standout here is the staff. The service was seamless and attentive, which is impressive given how many people were involved throughout the evening. The nine-course menu focused on the North Sea, with each dish beautifully presented and clearly tied to the theme. Each dish was delicious. My standout dishes were the rabbit, scallop, and haddock, as well as the blue cheese berry tartlet. As non-drinkers, we truly appreciated the sommelier creating a custom mocktail just for us. If you're celebrating something special or looking for a memorable night out in Kortrijk, this restaurant is a true gem. Reservations highly recommended. And yes, I left feeling wonderfully full.

My partner enjoyed the filet of sole and she was kind enough to share a bite with me. My better half and I are always curious when we see Chocolate Molten Cake on the menu. Drink service is very fast. Food service was acceptably slower. Servers are prompt and friendly, servers speak multiple languages, and the food is good. I ordered the scallops with rice/risotto. Others ordered salads or steaks. Salad and fries sides were brought as sharing sides although they are to accompany individual orders. Decent beer options and decent food. Small interior, small patio, however, this place comes highly recommended. Give it a try.
