These guys are top notch. Ben has gone far beyond any expectations and I would use this place before Lowes anytime.

I went to the Lowe's in Milledgeville today to buy a Christmas tree. For years at all other stores,…read moreincluding Lowe's, I have bought one and they have netted it and tied it to my roof rack. Imagine my consternation when the employee said he could not tie it to my roof rack because it was a liability? This is news. Here is what I found online for Lowe's services "Lowe's typically offers assistance for loading items, including Christmas trees, into your vehicle. Staff members can help secure the tree properly to ensure safe transport." So evidently they just have a lazy employee. I got some song and dance that I could use their twine. I am a 70 year old petite woman. Putting a 6' tree on the roof rack and tying it down is ludicrous. Needless to say, I did not buy a tree. I thought Milledgeville was better than that. This is the last place I will ever go to buy anything.

My wife and I recently moved to Lake Sinclair and wanted to redo some flooring in our new home. We…read morewent to Lowe's in Milledgeville in EARLY FEBRUARY and ended up ordering carpeting and laminate flooring, which came to over $5200. We were told it had to be ordered in, which was no problem since we wanted to paint the rooms they were going into. Fast forward to Sometime in EARLY MARCH with no word on when this job would be installed. At one point we were contacted by the Lowe's in Madison, a bit strange but, oh well. Still no definite date. We went into the store up in Madison and a very helpful employee there determined that, for some unknown reason, the carpeting was shipped to our old address ( we still own it, but never brought it up while buying these products) in Florida. She then set it up to correct that mistake. Another week or so went by and finally the install was set up for APRIL 6th ( two months later). My wife decided to go over the order with a fine toothed comb, and we discovered that the carpeting on the order wasn't what we ordered. I called Lowe's installation department TWICE and did not get a call back. On the third call I apparently got lucky and reached our "representative" and explained to her what the issue was and I'll be kind and say she seemed indifferent to our plight. We have since cancelled the order and are dealing with a local company, Galloway flooring in Milledgeville. We spoke to them yesterday, they're doing a measurement today, and if we like the quote (probably will, I'm guessing at this point), it will be installed next week. That's how you do it, Lowe's!

Went here today for a Hitch. I had the misfortune of speaking to Margaret the store manager. She…read morewas very rude and unhelpful. I left without buying anything and will not return. Thanks for nothing Margaret.

I purchased a commercial pressure washer for over $700 and when I got it home it had a small amount…read moreof fuel in it. I filled it up and it wouldn't start. Got the machine to start it would run for a few minutes then shut off. I proceeded to take the machine back to the store. Was informed I as an end consumer, not a small engine mechanic and a disabled veteran had to remove the fuel from the machine. I purchased a pump and fuel can from the store and removed all the fuel I could minus what was left in the neck of the fuel tank. The head managers continued to refuse to take the item because a small amount of fuel was in the tank. I asked "how am I supposed to remove fuel with out taking the machine apart" I was informed by the female manager to cut the fuel line. I asked for that in writing and was told " No why? You have her, the cashier and the other supervisor as witnesses" I expressed my disagreement with cutting the fuel line without it in writing. I proceeded to cut the fuel line and no fuel exits the machine. I asked them to come and verify that the machine would not let me remove any more fuel short of taking the machine apart. I was told no I'm not looking at it. I contacted the cooperate officer over the matter and was told I would be contacted back in 3-5 business days but I only have 5 days to return it. As an end consumer removing the major fuel amount is reasonable but trying to make me have to make it bone dry is absurd. If I had bought this at Lowe's they would have taken it and removed the fuel. So as a veteran on a fixed income harbor freight sees a way to take advantage of people by saying you must do this or that to return it. Then suggest destroying the machine to be able to return it and when you do as they say they refuse to acknowledge they told you to do that. Harbor freight is the biggest scam I have ever seen that takes advantage of customer.
