She then proceeded to tell me that I had the option of having my son arrested for taking my car without permission, so my insurance would not go up. I ignored her derogatory remarks and tried to get through process of the release as soon as possible. She called the police to have my son's license verified and he was given a sobriety test and breathalyzer, which he passed and we were able to secure my car. She said it was NYS procedure to verify the license; for all pickups. It is not. She called the police because she thought my son was aggressive on the phone for insisting he was allowed to drive. He did not enter the building and was waiting in the car. She approached his car with the police present. He did not yell or swear at her, slightly aggressive from both of them, is what I witnessed. They both need to work on their people skills and this could of been avoided all together.

North Tonawanda police did not place these temporary no parking signs within tbe required 12 hour advanced notice and then lied however my surveillance cameras prove they lied. I was asked "why I think I need an alignment" which is a perfectly acceptable question being a mechanic for 20 years for the state, we don't have an alignment machine or I would have done it myself. I replied I just installed brand new tie rods and center link, just needed a toe set, usually took me 30 minutes at the dealership when I worked for one. The car was left with them at 8:30 am. I was told there was a vehicle on the rack until about noon. I waited for a call from them. And waited. And waited. I finally called them 20 minutes before they closed, giving them the benefit of the doubt, and was told "sir, it will have to wait until tomorrow, we only have one rack" in a pretty rude tone. Now, as stated earlier, I wanted to like this shop. What they could have done to earn my business is : 1). Called me an hour before they closed to let me know it wasn't even in the shop yet, not make me call slightly before you close. I understand things happen and time gets away from you. But some basic customer service goes a long way with me. Or better yet.., 2). Take the vehicle that you were getting stuck on off the rack, I know alignments are about $100-$150 an hour, and get the car that you know has brand new parts on it, and then work on the one that you know will take extra time. I had taken the day off of work for this, which isn't their problem, but my day was wasted waiting for them. I picked my car up and am taking it to another shop.
