My husband & I love coming here at least once a month. They got the best popcorn & beer -- always such a vibe

Glad to see this local theatre is still open. It is small and can have two movies to play at the same time. But the environment is nice and the staff is very friendly. It is playing some classic movies now. Ticket price is about $12.50 to $15.

Terrible popcorn. Rude staff. Racist owner. Ancient and uncomfortable seats. Don't even have brand name soda.

As you enter from the bottom floor, you can either stand in line to buy tickets from the box office or go to the kiosk on the side. Its actually pretty quick to just get your tickets from the kiosk, its the same price. There are several levels of theaters so double check how many levels you have to go up. There are escalators in the center to bring you up. If your theater is near the top, remember to buy your snacks from the counters on the first couple levels, All levels have a food counter, but the ones near the top aren't always open. The place is very clean and very busy. They have great service and the food line goes by really quick. i will definitely come back here to watch more movies. The also have a current deal on ICEEs and Popcorn. It was buy one Large ICEE and Large PopCorn and get another Large ICEE for FREE. Not sure how often their promos change.

I'd heard about it, but it never quite made it to the top of the list. Today my son suggested we go since admission is free on Saturdays for Bay Area residents, so we stopped by late in the afternoon -- and I was genuinely blown away. That's not an exaggeration. First, parking was easier than expected. The small lots right by the entrance were full, but there's another lot less than a quarter mile down the hill where we found a space without any trouble. Maybe we got lucky, but it was smooth. The setting alone is worth the visit. The museum sits among rolling green hills with views that feel very different from the usual tourist spots. The architecture is striking, and I was surprised to learn the building is now over a century old. The centerpiece collection features works by Auguste Rodin, and seeing so many of his sculptures up close -- in different sizes and forms -- was fascinating. It felt like a real privilege to experience them in person. There are rotating exhibits throughout the year; currently the spotlight is on Édouard Manet and Berthe Morisot. I'm not a major art expert, but I still enjoyed learning about their partnership and viewing these Impressionist works. The unexpected highlight was the Spreckels Organ performance. We happened to catch the Saturday 4pm concert -- pure luck. The organ pipes are built into the structure itself, and the hour-long performance was mesmerizing. It's one of those experiences you just have to hear for yourself. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

I have heard of this theater, but never actually went inside of it until now. it's a nice cozy theater with a stage and two level seating the orchestra and the section behind it. Any seat you can have a pretty good view point. I came here for an artist talk called "Art at the Presidio Theatre: Andrew Pick & Ursula Xanthe Young". Andrew Pick, a pastel and oil painter based in San Francisco, trained at both the City College of San Francisco and The Art Students League of New York. His plein air paintings capture the city's streets, skies, and hidden corners with immediacy and intimacy. Ursula Xanthe Young brings her signature blend of intricate architectural motifs, feminine iconography, and dreamlike cityscapes to the space. Her work--well known throughout the Bay and beyond--draws inspiration from the urban world around her, reimagining San Francisco as both myth and Memories. This show was moderated by returning artist Rhonel Roberts, whose own work opened this series. This is a chance to hear the artists discuss their process, their paths, and the shared landscapes that inspire them. Yes, there is much going in this area with one Presidio Go Shuttle bus and one muni bus 43 Masonic that actually comes into this park. The 30 Stockton bus stops by the Sports Basement and it is also a 4 minute walk up the stairs to the Presidio tops park. I happened to follow Ursula Xanthe Young work and found she did a skateboard exhibit at the Minnna art gallery too, so obviously I am going to check it out and that is why both these reviews are now posted back to back

It's a small and intimate theatre especially before patrons are let into the theatre, everyone just hung around in the prefunction area. They have a small snack bar where you can get some drinks and snacks. No food and drinks allowed inside the theatre. Restrooms also downstairs. Not very big but sufficient for the small theatre. This was my first experience with Panto and it was amazing, so festive and entertaining. I love it so much this will be my new holiday tradition going to this show starting this year on! Our seats were excellent! I did an extensive research on what seats to pick. My normal go to seat for like the Orpheum theatre will be the balcony but for this smaller theatre and the theme of the show, I decided orchestra will be the best bet. Turned out I was right. Panto is an interactive, fun, playful, laugh out loud kind of show that fit for both adults and kids. Not to forget the amazing costumes and stage sets, yay for Panto!

Same nightlife access with a more fancy atmosphere tonight. 4/5 - Bao Bun - An Asian inspired dish comprised of tangy sauce pickled vegetables, steamed bun, and a chicken tender topped with a sweet, spicy sauce. Super filling and my favorite dish to eat with the drinks. It was a little difficult to eat as a cohesive dish and slightly dry but make no mistake - I was still eating 2 or 3 servings of this! 4/5 - Spring Rolls - The spring rolls were actually vegetable egg rolls that were still cooked well and complemented perfectly with sweet and sour sauce. Easiest snack to walk around and eat! 4/5 - Noodles - They had a chow mein-like noodle dish that was well seasoned and had a kick of spice with their chilis. Pretty decent dish that would've definitely given you your fix of noodles if that's what you would like! 5/5 - Lemon Bars and Strawberries - The outside park had a mini dessert stand and coffee station. The lemon bars were definitely the best dish (though more hidden as it was only one station). The strawberries also tasted fresh and sweet!

It was pretty great getting to explore a good portion of the museum (they do block off certain sections in the evening), open bars throughout the event floor, and DJ's spitting out tunes in the background. It's also a different vibe in the evening with different lighting and a distinct lack of children running around. I've tried NightLife before in the past a while ago during regular operating hours and it was still fun. Although the overpriced drinks and limited bars did sour the experience a bit.
