Unfortunately I started my period the morning of the massage, and when I let Anicha know she became extremely concerned with my comfort levels. She allowed me to switch to a table massage instead of the originally planned Thai massage, and even consulted with him while I was changing to make sure I was okay keeping the appointment and wasn't just being polite. She was just really concerned that I would be uncomofortable and wouldn't get the most out of the massage. That actual massage was amazing! She used an excellent amount of pressure (I like really intense pressure) and basically worked through 2 years worth of postdocing-in-a-pandemic stress that has accumulated in my shoulders, lol. At the end, she wished me happy birthday and gave me a little trinket souvenir from Thailand. So sweet! I am sad that I didn't find Anicha sooner since I am moving out of MPLS, but I highly recommend her if you are looking for a really nice, deep, effective massage.

Hannah really listened to my needs and took her time to focus on the areas that needed a little more work. Hannah even asked me about my time because she had located the source of my problem and wanted to work it on it a little longer but wanted to respect my time. I will definitely be going back and will be telling everyone I know to get a massage with Hannah! Caleb works the front desk and he was very sweet and kind.

About 9 weeks ago I went in to have a reflexology full body treatment. I have been here as a customer several times. When I left my appointment, I felt like I normally do and was relaxed but my body felt "off" on my right side. Like really off! I went home and went to straight to bed and couldn't get comfortable and started to experience pain and a burning fire from my neck, my right shoulder down into my right hand. It became absolutely excruciating! The nerve pain was on fire! Since my appointment at Hand & Aroma Massage, I was bed bound for 4 weeks, had to quit my job because I cannot function, I have been in pain every single day, my right hand is still completely numb from nerve injury nd I do not have any feeling in it STILL! My life has completely fallen apart literally just from getting a massage and having someone injure me, possibly permanently! Do NOT go here! It is not worth it and I do not want anyone else to suffer like I have and STILL am constantly! It's been almost 9 weeks of total HELL WARNING!!!! URGENT UPDATE October 10th....i STILL do not have feeling in my right hand! My hand is completely numb from getting a reflexology appointment here! I am sooooo UPSET! BEST massage I've received in the last 10 years in Eagan. If you demand a posh experience with…read moreextravagant and lavish decor, look elsewhere. But if you want a great massage at an average price, you'll love it here. I requested a deep tissue massage and got great hands on pressure the entire time. I especially loved their technique for massaging the neck and glutes. I felt so refreshed and HEALED after my 60 minutes (not 50 minutes) session. I also loved that I was able to walk in to get a massage; some places require you to book an appointment 1 to 2 months in advance. SO convenient that I can get a massage as needed. I'm cancelling my 13 year membership at Massage Envy and planning to come back here whenever I need a great massage. Honestly, the quality of the massage I received was as good as the ones at high end places that charge twice as much. I wasn't too thrilled about how the place looks from the outside; I almost cancelled and drove back home. But after thinking about it, I'm glad to not be paying for "curb appeal" of the building, I'd rather be paying for a great massage while they keep their other costs down.

I asked to be put in the couples room so we could chat and relax together - that was a huge plus for me. We both had 90 minute facials and 90 minute massages and they were both spectacular from start to finish! My esthetician was absolutely amazing, she really knew her stuff and was up to date on all the Murad products. I was a little disappointed their Murad services weren't the same as my ME home location in California. But, given the demographics in Minnesota - I can understand that facials are probably not super popular. The massage therapist had magical hands! I thoroughly enjoyed my chat with her and she really worked on my problem spots! I have been going to Massage Envy's since 2009 - I've been to Massage Envy locations nationwide from Washington DC, Florida, California, ect. and I have to say that there is certainly a reason I keep coming back - they are absolutely amazing !! This particular location is no exception.

Key takeaways: * Inconsistent technique -- sometimes too soft, other times abrupt pressure on sore areas * Lack of energy and genuine care during the session * Odd personal remarks from the therapist that made me uncomfortable For a place with this pricing, I expected a higher level of service.
