If you want to Relax, Connect with Nature and Make Awesome Memories with Family and Friends…read more.. Angelfields is the place to go! The Nature Sanctuary was less than an hour from Santa Rosa Exit on CALAX (depending on traffic) and a perfect day trip or quick get-away from your busy lives. Our kids (10, 8, 4) have not been out since the pandemic started in March 2020 and today was their first time leaving the house. The joy and laughter my kids expressed today at Angelfields was priceless. They ran around the big, open, grassy field; chased each other; and threw a football back and forth. They also walked alongside a group of sheep with bells on their necks, helped fish back into the water (looks like mudfish who jumped out of the small lake) and enjoyed seeing a family of ducks swim gracefully. There are plenty of trees and even though it's sunny out, you can always find some shade. The sound of birds chirping and cicadas can also be heard. Although we loved the the nature sanctuary overall, we were a bit disappointed about the restaurant inside, Cucina Bernardo. I had big expectations about the restaurant and even looked at their menu ahead of time and knew exactly what I wanted to order once we arrive. To our surprise, many of the entrees on the menu were unavailable even though they provided us two different menus to chose from... {Food We Tasted}: - The Nachos and Dips -- chips with three sauces (tomato salsa, spinach cream cheese and cheddar cheese). Mediocre; nothing special except the spinach cream cheese was tasty. - Signature Angus Burger & Bacon Cheddar Burger -- meat cooked to your preferred doneness. And served with fries and fresh green salad. The salad on our plate was invisible, unless they meant the lettuce, tomatoes and onions that was put in the burgers was the "fresh green salad." - Bacon and Eggs -- crispy bacon, garlic fried rice and 2 eggs cooked your way. This meal my oldest son actually loved and practically cleaned his plate. - Lemongrass Annatto Chicken -- delicious grilled chicken with flavorful spices. - Pinakbet -- only one I didn't taste but my parents seemed to have liked it. - French Fries -- never can go wrong with fries. Thin cut, hot and seasoned well. - Vanilla Milkshake -- tasted like whipped up milk and topped with canned whipped cream. I think more vanilla ice cream should have been added to the mix to make it more creamy and thick. Even though we didn't get to order what we really wanted to eat like the Grilled Norwegian Salmon, Pork BBQ, and Beef Tapa; we all still had a really good time enjoying each other's company and just being able to go out and gallivant "pasyal" :-)! I'm sure we'll be back at Angelfields again soon -- maybe a date night with hubby so we can try out the different entrees. ***It is best to call ahead and make a reservation if you're a party of 10+ since apparently it gets really busy on weekends and they cannot accommodate everyone. We went on a Monday and it was perfect; just 4 other family groups. Food may be a little expensive for the serving size, IMHO.

0 Star -- A Complete Waste of Time…read more We drove all the way from Makati to Tagaytay for an ocular, only to be completely ignored. First, the security guard asked us 10 different questions and it felt like an interrogation. We felt so unwelcome. Already, it was a terrible experience! Since we first spoke on October 5 and upon arrival, not a single person from your sales team reached out or followed up -- despite confirming the appointment for October 17 and assuring me that it was "noted." We waited for 20 minutes in your office, were eventually led to the "blue room" to meet the salespeople, and still waited endlessly. No one seemed to know what was going on. The entire experience was disorganized, unprofessional, and a total embarrassment for what's supposed to be a reputable resort. What makes this worse is that I had been messaging since October 5, trying to coordinate. Had your team shown even a fraction of professionalism, you could've had a full week's stay from guests who have shared stages with Tony Robbins and Oprah Winfrey, using your amenities daily and generating great exposure for your brand. Instead, you've shown a complete lack of awareness, urgency, and business sense. Opportunities like this don't knock twice -- and you've managed to slam the door shut on yours. Truly disappointing.

My husband and I were looking for a venue that made us both happy. He wanted something outdoorsy while I wanted something indoors (because I know how hard it is for ladies to deal with the heat and sinking in grass), but we both agreed that we did not want our reception to be in a hotel. We were both happy and satisfied when we checked out The Monochrome because it is an events place (complete with clean rest rooms and airconditioning) but it also opens to a wonderful view of the (man-made) lake and some greenery. We chose to have our reception during noon time so we can take advantage of the natural light. I had an easy time dealing with them for my wedding. They were approachable and assisted me throughout the planning months. Since it's very bare and mostly white, it is easy to decorate the place according to how you want your wedding/event to be. I also like how there are enough restrooms and a specific parking lot to make it more convenient for your guests. I would definitely recommend this place for an event!

Different looks and themes can easily suit simple venues, thus making it more versatile and could easily be offered to clients. Monochrome in Nuvali is exactly that. With two halls and one smaller function area in the middle, all three can be combined to accommodate up to 800 guests. The airconditioning units are elevated and built into the walls so there is even more potential for the flexibility in positioning key area like the stage, musicians, the VIP tables, etcetera. At least one side of each hall is all glass, giving guests a beautiful view of the garden and the man-made lake at a distance. Upon renting the venue, clients can also utilize the holding rooms to freshen up or use as storage. I once personally handled a wedding with the reception at Monochrome. We used the holding room for the couple to freshen-up, get retouch for make-up, and it was also from there that they made their grand entrance, descending from the stairs for all of the guests to watch.
