Delicious food! Staff was really helpful and friendly. Wish I could've tried everything on the menu I'll just have to come back.

Today it was a cold carrot ginger orange soup; prepared just right with all 3 tastes in balance. Next course was a tenderloin salad with a light drizzle of olive oil. Again good though the tenderloin pieces were on the smaller side. Plus a side order of 2 perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs. Then the finale: chocolate cake with a hint of rosemary on the topping plus itty bits of walnuts. It was the tastiest non sweet light chocolate cake. And of course a mandatory cappuccino to finish the pallet. Incidentally fast wifi on both days which was a bonus. Finally I might add a restaurant is about food and service ....if you want wifi, pay for wifi at an Internet cafe. Bad form to complain about a give away.

It is spacious with lots of wooden chairs, but also a few different kinds of chairs (wooden chairs sometimes make me uncomfortable after a while). I chose a seat near the window and ordered a latte. It was tasty, but only lukewarm. I would have liked it hotter. Then the major problem -- the wifi didn't work. I tried the password over and over, but nothing. Fortunately, I had other work to do offline. Another patron asked me if the internet was working and I said no. She said that sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. For me, that is not acceptable. Who knows, maybe it works better if you sit in a different spot... maybe I just caught them on a bad day... but either way, spotty wifi is not good. If you want to work here, I would recommend connecting and making sure it works before you settle in.

They have 3 levels of limited seating but it's seat yourself so you may be waiting for a table if it's busy. Hop in line and order from the counter. I had to get the hot chocolate because it's the thick kind you can only find in Europe. It went down like a dessert - you almost have to chew it. It's really good, if you like that type of chocolate. The service is excellent - I was helped by a young lady who was very personable. I asked if they took cash but I didn't have the exact amount and they didn't have enough to make change so I paid by card instead. Seems to be the more popular payment type anyway. Make time to stop by during your visit to Old Town - it's worth it!

I love this place. It's very cosy and charming. No loud music (come to think of I am not sure if…read morethere was music at all, but I guess there was, just not too loud) so guests don't need to yell at each other to have a conversation. BTW. I have noticed that many cafes and pubs of Krakow have this approach - which is great - that the background music is rather quiet. after all pub/cafe/restaurant guests come to have a meal/drink and to talk, not to listen to music. I have many wonderful memories from this cafe - meetings with friends for a drink and a chat throughout many years. the place is beautifully decorated and has a unique atmosphere. a very interesting interior, with a mezzanine along two walls in the main room. the mezzanine seating is ideal for a more private conversation or a date ;) even though alcohol is being served there, I haven't noticed any disruptive behaviour. the floor plan of the place (a few connected smallish rooms instead of a large one) prevents bigger groups or (heaven forbid) infamous bachelor parties from frequenting. Although this year I have visited this place on a weeknight so I can't speak for weekends... Altogether I really recommend this place. it is totally unpretentious and is really impressive for those who like antique furniture and decorations, without even trying. There is self service, so don't wait for somebody to take your order - you need to go to the bar to place it. but the staff will clear the tables of course. The cafe has a few connected rooms on the main level, the mezzanine and a medium size room on the second floor (it might be hard to find it) with its own bar, and a beautiful view from the window.

The place is made up of an eclectic mix of tables, chairs, sofas, and various other seating arrangements. The staff are all phenomenally friendly and helpful; it seems that the owner spends some time every day coming by to see how things are going. A friend and I took the corner table in the back, just up the stairs. We both got the meal of the day which included a cheese and leek soup, and a turkey burger with a simple side salad. The soup was a healthy serving and was wonderfully refreshing. It was full of flavour, well balanced (not too many leeks!) and creamy. The real deal breaker was the turkey burger though; it was one of the best ones I've ever had. The homemade party was succulent, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Topped with just the right amount of lettuce, a fresh slice of tomato, some cheese, and a delectable sauce; this burger was legendary, melt-in-your-mouth type stuff. The small side salad was just lettuce with a balsamic sauce on it. I found it to be the perfect side dish. The hot chocolate my friend got was too bitter for my taste but she really enjoyed it. All in all, we paid 18 PLN for the meal set, which was wonderful value. Great ambiance, excellent service, and top notch food.
