It's a great deal--just 15 zloty gets you a selection of four items, and feeling very salady, I tried the beet salad (with lettuce); the broccoli with egg; the spinach salad with soy beans (which, uniquely, came with both cooked and raw spinach leaves); and my favorite, the herring salad with apple! I can't say that these were the freshest concoctions, as they had definitely been sitting around for a while and had started to wilt. But for the price, and for the really cool courtyard setting, this is a great casual place to check out in the center of Krakow that's actually popular with the locals!

Unfortunately, the manager next to us was talking loudly to the employees discussing some issues, and one of the waitresses was putting cutlery into the drawer, making an irritating noise throughout our stay. They acted like we weren't even there. O well. We waited for our food longer than we expected while our 1.5 hour clock ticked away. The Pizza Parma was good. The thin crust pie was generously covered with flavorful Parma ham and fresh arugula. It is always a perfect combination. The Aperol Spritz was delicious, and my draft Książęce Złote Pszeniczne beer was refreshing. Both drinks are quite popular lately in Kraków. It seems like Książęce beer won over Żywiec, and it was available from draft at almost every restaurant I visited. Książęce beer is produced by the Tyskie brewery.
