Fifth & Broadway has it all !!!!! You can choose from Assembly Food Hall or all the restaurants within Fifth. I decided to try Prince St Pizza. There are lots of little shops to visit within the plaza, whether you're dining or looking for gourmet donuts. The indoor layout makes it a perfect destination when Nashville's summer heat or a rainy day changes your plans. The variety is impressive. Whether you're hunting for bargains at Coach, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike Factory Store, Saks OFF 5TH, or dozens of other retailers, there's something for just about everyone. If shopping isn't your thing, there are plenty of dining options ranging from quick bites to sit-down restaurants, plus entertainment like Regal Cinemas, Dave & Buster's, and the massive Bass Pro Shops. Its location next to the iconic Gaylord Opryland Resort and the Grand Ole Opry makes it an easy addition to any Nashville itinerary. Even if you're in town primarily for music, this is a worthwhile stop for a few hours. If I had one suggestion, it would be to wear comfortable walking shoes. No customer should ever leave a store feeling embarrassed or judged because of their body. Shopping is supposed to be a positive experience, and instead I left feeling hurt and uncomfortable. No kiddin'. Moxie was also a delight with their innovative interior decor and furniture that offered up so many beautiful concepts. I literally fell in love with a one-of-a-kind console table that was priced to sell at $250. Some other standouts included Pretty Pretty Pop Pop with their custom facial sets ($7) that the staff concoct for you based off your skin's needs. I am also a fan of the bath bomb ($7) and various hair serums and lotions. This is a perfect place to pick up goodies for yourself and for gifts! Baxter Bailey and Company is a beautiful little shop dedicated to all things pup. I picked up a whimsical little sweater with antlers for my pup and was also tempted by the wonderful assortment of collars, harnesses, carriers, and so much more. My pups are going to be more spoiled than they already are.... is that even possible? State adds a beautifully curated collection of accessories, apparel, and jewelry for both the m'ams and misters. I am smitten over a little necklace with a fork charm ($35) and hope that it's stuffed in my stocking! High Garden Herbs & Tea, 1907 Apparel, Thrive, Wildernest, and Red Dog Beads all rounded out the lineup. Can't wait to pick up holiday gifts from here!

The Shoppes on Fatherland are a eclectic assortment of small retail spots with a few food/drink…read morespots along with service oriented shops mixed in. The blocks occupied feel like its own little community in the middle of the bigger city. It definitely has it's own vibe and is uniquely East Nashville. When we are in East, we normally make it point to stop in a shop or two. International Coffee, Galena Garlic and Adobe Mercantile are usually spots we frequent when wandering around, and Gift Horse is a cool place for a quirky or local gift for folks. Food wise, Maru and East Creamery are always on point and hit the spot! Hours of each shop differ, so make sure you look specifically at the hours of the places you want to visit. There is no real consistency amongst the shops from an overall hours perspective, which can be a tad frustrating. Parking is a bit wonky as well, nothing really dedicated at all times. There are a few pay lots nearby and street parking is plentiful in the area. Overall, Shoppes on Fatherland is a cool East community and is a good spot to spend a little time when you have nothing going on. It's always an after or before dinner/drink place for us.

You may need to kick your truck or jeep into 4 wheel drive to get through. The last time I drove on a road so treacherous was when I was offroading through the high deserts of California. :) I hope one day they can fix the road.

The mall is easily manipulated if you require assisted mobility devices also. There are also several eateries available to find something for everyone right in the same parking lot. Stores from Old Navy, Coach, Columbia, Crocs, under Armor to name a few. Parking is a bit of a challenge and a little more seating and shady areas definitely needed otherwise enjoyed.

Even though this was a new construction, it made sense for Green Hills and fit so perfectly. And even though the majority of the residents were chains (I'm guessing you need big money to afford this kind of rent), the stores were all appropriately suited for the area and all fit in to the complex. I'm not much of a shopper, but the Hill Center has sucked me in to buy furniture, food, clothes, gifts, and groceries. I'm surprised by how often I find myself here -- especially given that I don't live that close to the complex. I'm telling you: that's the power of pretty. After spending some time in Brentwood and marveling at the Hill complex there, I'm convinced that the Hill folks have the aspirational-yet-accessible aesthetic down to a science. *Some of the worst, most distracted drivers in the 615.

I am a walker and don't mind getting my happy ass up and down but these stores are just SO spread out it makes it rather difficult if you are carrying bags or its cold/rainy outside. They offer some really great discount stores that are near and dear to my heart like Michaels, TJ Maxx, Ross, etc. They also have a movie theater, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, etc within very short driving distance. Parking can be slightly crowded, but it's typically not horrible. This mall is a good stop in for a couple things (that are cheap) kind of place, but I wouldn't recommend it for heavy duty shopping.
