Opry Mills is much more than a shopping mall. Built on the former grounds of the beloved Opryland Theme Park, it's now Tennessee's largest outlet and value retail destination, with more than 200 stores, restaurants, and entertainment options all under one roof. What I appreciated most was how easy everything was. Parking was plentiful and free, access from the freeway was straightforward, and despite its size, I never felt overwhelmed. The indoor layout makes it a perfect destination when Nashville's summer heat or a rainy day changes your plans. The variety is impressive. Whether you're hunting for bargains at Coach, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike Factory Store, Saks OFF 5TH, or dozens of other retailers, there's something for just about everyone. If shopping isn't your thing, there are plenty of dining options ranging from quick bites to sit-down restaurants, plus entertainment like Regal Cinemas, Dave & Buster's, and the massive Bass Pro Shops. Its location next to the iconic Gaylord Opryland Resort and the Grand Ole Opry makes it an easy addition to any Nashville itinerary. Even if you're in town primarily for music, this is a worthwhile stop for a few hours. If I had one suggestion, it would be to wear comfortable walking shoes. This place is enormous, and you'll easily log a few miles before the day is over. Life is too short not to eat well or travel well. If you're visiting Nashville, add Opry Mills to your list. I had a very disappointing experience at Hollister. While I was shopping, an employee named Eden made comments that made me feel body shamed. No customer should ever leave a store feeling embarrassed or judged because of their body. Shopping is supposed to be a positive experience, and instead I left feeling hurt and uncomfortable. I hope management takes this seriously and speaks with their employees about treating every customer with kindness, respect, and professionalism. I won't be returning until I know customers are treated better. read more

I haven't been through the entire mall. Truth be told, I've only visited two stores and that's only because we were a bit too early to our 4DX movie and were just bumming around. I will say that the mall was clean, well lit, and there's a ton to do here for the whole family. It's not just your typical mall, this is almost like an entertainment resort. Because Opry Mills is full of entertainment and is touristy, this place can get very busy on weekends or when there's a show at the Grand Ole Opry, so it's best to visit during the week. Sure, there is plenty of parking, but again, if you're going when it's busy, good luck finding a spot. I'd like to come back another time and truly explore this mall, but I really only am here for the 4DX theater. read more

Opry Mills is a very nice indoor mall, and I had a great time shopping here. They have a Dave and Busters, Rainforest Café, a movie theatre, an escape room, and a big carousel in the food court area. Opry Mills combines shopping, dining, entertainment, and activities for the whole family. I LOVE that this mall is indoors. I feel like outdoor malls are the trend in the South, and I hate how on a rainy or cold day (yes, it gets cold), you have to brave the elements to go from store to store. Not here. Some of the stores here are outlets, and some are regular mall stores. I saw plenty of sales, and the selection in the stores was generally good. I shopped at the LOFT outlet and found a larger selection than other LOFT outlets I've been in. The Kate Spade outlet also had a good selection, although I didn't buy anything there (I love their products). The food court is excellent with both chain options as well as some spots that seem to be more local to Nashville. I opted for Panda Express, and it was just like every other Panda Express, but sometimes that's what you want in a food order meal. I wish my hometown had a mall like Opry Mills- all of ours are outdoor or have a lot of vacancies. If you're visiting Nashville or staying at the Opryland Hotel, definitely come to the mall for a fun afternoon. read more

Opry Mills is a massive shopping mall that is part of the Opryland complex. On the good side, it has a huge selection of stores, is well maintained and spacious. On the bad side, every time I have visited it has been packed to the gills giving a chaotic vibe. Some might like that but it's too busy for me to enjoy. read more

This place was packed when I visited! Good thing that the parking lot is massive. The mall is arranged in somewhat of a loop so you can walk a lap and see all of the stores and restaurants without getting lost or needing to double back. The Bass Pro Shops is massive and has a cool aquarium inside! I also stopped by the Lindt store to buy some chocolates. Everything was clean and well maintained. Lots of bright lighting and signage make this easy to navigate. There's the usual mix of shops and restaurants here, nothing super unique or memorable. If you're bored of walking around here and want a change of pace, Opryland has beautiful indoor gardens which is a short walk away. read more

Opry Mills is located along Briley Parkway NE of the city and is the anchor of the Opryland area of the city. It shares a greater space with the Grand Ole Opry, Gaylord Opryland Hotel along with several other hotels, shoppes and eateries. Opry Mills itself is impressive and ever-evolving. Not only through conditional and decor updates, but also with store openings and activity offerings. The mall itself is an outlet mall via variety of stores, but not by design or vibe. The stores are all well kept, clean and stocked with merch at great prices! There are about 200 outlets here including retail, eateries, a movie theater, an aquarium, wax museum, a huge outdoorsman store and countless other spots offering up all the fun and goods. Offerings range from major brands such as Nike, Gap, TJ Maxx, BR and VV, plus a good selection of local spots. This is echoed on the food side of things as well. This place gets WILD during the holidays, so plan accordingly. You will normally only find me here on a weekday afternoon or evening, and never during the holiday season. I appreciate Opry Mills taking safety seriously, along with disruptions to the experience. They have instituted several policies geared towards ensuring service and enjoyment can remain solid and safe. Overall, a fan of Opry Mills. Malls seem to be dying in America, but this mall is thriving. The day we went the parking lot was packed. There were a lot of people inside, but it wasn't too crazy. Opry Mills has a great selection of stores and restaurants. Some of my favorites were the Lego Store. There was a line out the door, It's Sugar, their candy selection was incredible with a lot of flavors I'd never tasted or seen, and the Aquarium Restaurant. I loved that a 200,000 gallon Aquarium with over 100 species of aquatic life is in the middle of the restaurant. They also had standard favorites Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, Build a Bear and a Old Navy Outlet. It's a great place to shop, eat and spend some time with your friends and family. read more

Anyways, most of the brands I personally do not frequent. Even my wife and daughter did not do much shopping, and they love to shop. We ended up having dinner at Saltgrass, see other reviews. The aquarium restaurant seemed interesting, but they were NOT very welcoming. At least I did not feel welcomed when I went to check them out. Date of visit: March 14, 2025 I remember visiting this mall during an early visit to Nashville many years ago, how giant it seemed! While I am a bit more traveled now and the size of the mall is less impressive, the facility has been kept up nicely, which I always appreciate. There is a good mix of both "regular" mall stores as well as outlet or "factory" branded locations here, with something for pretty much everyone, from Bass Pro Shops to TJ Maxx. From an entertainment perspective, there's a very nice Regal theatre along with a Dave & Buster's, not to mention a wide variety of fast food, quick service, and sit down restaurants. Like any mall, parking can be a hassle, as well as entry and exit, but given the large number of entrances to the mall, you're never TOO far away from gaining access to opportunities to part with your money. Tip: Park just past the TJ Maxx and walk the five minutes to access The Grand Ole Opry and save on parking. read more

It's probably been over a decade since I was last at this mall. Parking was wild, but I got lucky and caught someone pulling out as I was rounding a corner near the D&B's entrance. They do have a policy about minors in the mall. My son was with me and he was given a wrist band and I was given a wrist band. I was advised he had to stay with me the entire time or he could get in trouble. There were a lot of stores, entertainment, and places to eat. We were meeting people there to go to Dave & Buster's so I didn't really get to explore like I would have liked to on my own. I had been to Opry Mills years ago but I decided to go again since I was in town. I visited around Christmastime which was the first mistake because parking was a nightmare. They had a huge lot blocked off for valet only and nearly every space was full. The interior of the mall was definitely thriving more than other malls I had visited recently. I had an absolutely horrible experience at the Karl Lagerfeld store today. This morning, I called and confirmed that a bag I wanted was in stock and that there was a 20% off promotion. I drove over an hour with my kids just to pick it up, and when I arrived, they told me the promotion had ended just hours earlier. When I expressed my frustration, they denied the conversation, even though it was recorded. The store associates, along with the supervisor, were incredibly rude and dismissive, and it felt like discrimination due to my race. I called customer service, who also asked for the associate's name, but the staff refused to provide it. This was the worst customer service I've ever encountered, and I will never shop there again. read more

I haven't been to the Oprymills mall in long while. Last time I went it was not appealing in the wild chaos of kids and fights. My kids and their friends wanted to go so we agreed. It was actually pretty nice. I don't know what changed but it was not stressful or chaotic full of random kids running around and being wild. Not to mention all the new shops and eateries. It was a pleasant trip and will likely return. It was busy but not chaos. Shops were nice and the staff were nice. The selection was great and so many little stores for kids to shop and blow through your wallets. The prices of course ranges but there's peak Ty for everyone to choose from. A plus! All the bathrooms were super clean and plenty of them! Be prepared to spend because I don't think you can go here and leave empty handed. read more

I checked out this mall since I was already in the area. I didn't have any plans to do any major shopping, but if I saw something I would buy, which is, of course, what happened, lol. I was visiting the Opry resort and took an Uber to the mall, which was very close. I walked around and checked out the stores and different vendors selling items. They have a small good court area. They have a few areas for the kids to enjoy, small little play area and a carousel. The mall wasn't crowded on a Monday afternoon. I picked up a few items I didn't need in TJMaxx and charged my phone at one of the seating areas while figuring out what I was going to eat. They had a few restaurants to choose from, in addition to the food court. The mall was clean, and there was security present. There is tons of parking, and I loved that they have great signage at the entry/ exit areas to help identify your location. read more

It's a very large mall, but it's definitely not outlet prices despite the word being used in many of the stores. I don't go here often and I did today and quickly found it to be a ghetto environment where police and K-9 patrolling the place which is not a good feeling. They also made my kids wear wristbands to show that they're allowed in the mall as I was chaperoning. The fact that they are doing these things makes me feel uncomfortable and I don't think it's worth it. I rather shop at places that feel inherently safe and not one that needs extraordinary security read more

Yes, there's a few extra things like the wax museum but it was like walking any Simon mall. The big difference is that the HVAC works better at Opry Mills than Ontario. I rarely give an outlet mall a five-star rating. I have such a rating for the Twin Cities Premium Outlet in Eagan, MN. Opry Mills is right up there. I came here on four separate occasions. Each experience was different. I loved each one. The folks who designed Opry Mills thought ahead. It brings tourist attractions, entertainment, dining, and shopping all under one roof or close by, such as the Grand Ole Opry. I like that Opry Mills is an enclosed mall. It was scorching hot during my entire stay in Nashville. I loved coming here to appreciate the air conditioning, dry off, and hibernate from the excessive heat. My first visit was to Madame Tussaud's, which is in this mall. It was enjoyable for this tourist. I also like that there is a stage in front of this museum where musicians play live on weekends. I stumbled upon it on a Sunday (my last visit) and watched two performances. The best part is that they are free, but you are free to tip. There are a bunch of restaurants to choose from. Three of my visits involved lunch: - Bavarian Haus (the pork schnitzel, sangria, and pretzel pudding were yummy) - TGI Fridays (my usual potstickers and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were delicious, and the service stands out at this specific restaurant) - Aquarium Restaurant (dining in front of a massive tanks with sea creatures) Each dining experience was great and memorable. I picked up a birthday pretzel from Auntie Anne's. Is it a coincident that both outlet malls that I have rated highly have Auntie Anne's? Nope. The stores at Opry Mills interest me. Converse. Hot Topic. FYE. Five Below. Lindt. Ecco. Francesca's. Crocs. IT'SUGAR. There are enough stores here to keep me content and broke. I spent roughly seven hours at this mall on my first visit. I rarely become a mall rat at any mall these days. It's a sign of a good mall. My second visit was to see Top Gun: Maverick at the Regal Theatre, which is also at this mall. It threw me back to seeing a movie at a theatre in a mall. These days, I tend to hit a standalone movie theatre. I had a good time. Luckily, I took in an evening flick that I couldn't have done any shopping damage. Several days later, I had a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry, which is across from Opry Mills. Afterwards, I had a late lunch at TGI Fridays and then shopped a bit afterwards. I appreciated that I could do everything in the same vicinity. My final visit was a late lunch at the Aquarium Restaurant. I had never heard of dining in front of a massive aquarium, so I had to experience it. I didn't do a ton of shopping, thanks to taking in live performances. There are washrooms throughout the mall. It also has a carousel by the food court, to keep kids and perhaps their parents happy. There is parking everywhere. Depending on what is happening, you may need to park further away. I parked further away when I went to see a movie because the Grand Ole Opry had a performance that evening. Both share the same parking lot. Other than that, you never have to worry about not getting a parking spot. There is also security everywhere in the parking lot. Security towers are clearly marked and have lights blinking on top of them. They are manned at all times. Minors need adult accompaniment into the mall after 5:30 pm. Security checkpoints enforce this rule. I witnessed it a couple of times. I loved my visits to Opry Mills. I miss it, but my credit card statement does not... haha! It's a decent outlet mall with decent deals and a lot to do, whether you are a tourist or a local resident. (305) read more

Great on the weekdays but super crowded on holiday weekends. Has practically every kind of store you need. Their food court is somewhat large, places to eat varies as well. There's restrooms about every 1/4 mile I think which is shopper friendly. Most of Their store employees are nice and helpful. Except the kiosk. Being from a non gambling state, I never played the lottery before. I was kinda excited about it. So I clicked on the barcode to the Opry Mill website which they say that they do sell Lottery tickets!, at their Music City convenience Kiosk!. So I went looking for it, it's located near the food court. Wrong! They do not sell lottery tickets! Their kiosk employees were kinda rude, just gave me,"what are you stupid or something?" Look. I just asked if they did sell, one gave me "no we don't." And blew me off and then went somewhere (maybe break?), and then another employee the very next day just seemed annoyed or something. I just asked very nicely if they do sell. Maybe they don't like their job? Idk. So if you looking for lottery tickets, they don't sell it here. Maybe that website need to change its lottery ticket sell elsewhere or not advertise it on the website at all. But all in all, the weekday is a better time to go shopping. This mall was deceptively large. When I pulled into the parking lot, I had no idea it was as large as it was. I got inside and was almost overwhelmed at the selection of retailers from which I could increase my credit card balance. I made my way around the entire mall over the next few hours and was not disappointed with my purchases. Every store I walked into was having a great sale, which made the value of my dollar increase exponentially. I got so many great deals that day! Everywhere I went, every store I walked into, everyone was friendly and helpful and seemed to be genuinely interested in the small talk you make while shopping and / or checking out. The young lady in Old Navy was particularly outgoing and friendly, and I enjoyed our chat while she checked me out. Love shopping here because it's an easy in and out parking area. The armed police really keep this place safe as they have a supervision of guests under age 18 are required to be accompanied by and remain with a parent or adult, age 21 or older, at all times after 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. I watched them tell young teenagers they had to leave because of this. There is a food court with a few choices, but lots of good restaurants around the corners. This mall is pretty awesome. Big layout with lots of shops. And not just all the standard kind of shops that you see at any other mall. This one has a few unique storefronts as well. I recommend the shop with the free moonshine flavor tasting! ;) My partner and I had a great time looking around and shopping. I was especially impressed by some of the architectural work that went into fancying up the restaurant fronts-- I can only assume to compete with the elegance of the nearby Gaylord Resort (have to tempt people to leave there to come to the mall, haha). It was certainly the nicest Claim Jumper I'd ever seen, and the neon on the Johnny Rocket's was poppin'. The Aquarium Restaurant and Rainforest Cafe were also really swanky. You'll find roving toys to entertain your kids with, and even a mini train. There's a carousel at the food court too. There's a big movie theatre attached to it as well as an impressive Dave & Buster's. So plenty of fun and entertainment to be had here as well! read more
