The husband and I decided to share three mini rolls which I'm guessing are already an entire days worth of calories and a weeks worth of sugar for just one roll... Oops! But how delicious! Let me save you the effort of taking a regular cinnamon roll, they're not very interesting but the pecan toffee one and the chocolate one: yes! So much yes, those two definitely brought the happy, even for the caramel loathing (how did I marry this man??) husband the pecan toffee was a hit. I can't say which one of these two is actually better since that choice depends on my mood but that day I was feeling the warm comfort of the chocolate one a bit more. You can wake me up at any time for a pecan toffee roll, but some days I need a big snuggle reminiscent of really good hot chocolate and the chocolate roll certainly delivers! Definitely inspired to make some rolls at home soon. Anyone in for a sweet roll brunch??

a cute little bakery with an assortment of coffees and baked goods ranging from brownies, cookies,…read morecakes and pies. we ordered the nut pie which is pretty much a pecan pie with some other various nuts, and a fudge brownie. the pecan pie was delicious but a bit too sweet for my liking. we also got the fudge brownie which was a bit too rich. it was still enjoyable but definitely requires some coffee or tea to go along with the sweetness of the desserts.
