Boutique Bakery is another local favorite around Monroe. Not only do they offer delicious, moist, & highly addictive cupcakes, but they also do cakes, cake pops, and cookie cakes for all occasions (i.e. birthdays, weddings). They have mini and regular sized cupcakes. Fudge is also available now with it being the holidays. I enjoyed the Andes chocolate mint fudge on my most recent visit. Their lemon bars and cookie sandwiches are another yummy sweet treat. My favorite cupcake flavors are: their 4 daily flavors (red velvet, strawberry liqueur, triple chocolate & wedding cake) and s'mores. There are also various daily specials like bananas foster, salted caramel, pbj, turtle pecan, nutella, cookie dough, pumpkin, samoa, pecan, and cookies & cream. With such a variety of flavor selections, it's hard to pick just one so I end up trying out different flavors. This complaint is based more on the customer service (or lack thereof) than the quality of the food. But we ordered a cake for my daughter's christening, and they told us we could pick it up the day before the event. When we called to confirm the time for the pickup a few days later, they told us now that we had to pick the cake up three days early, which is fine. Today, they told us that they could only make it available for pickup 5 days before the christening. No matter how good it is, I can't believe that the cake would still be fresh 5 days after pickup when we're ready to eat it. I also don't understand why there's no time sooner than 5 days in advance to pick it up, especially since they originally told us it was no problem to pick it up the day before. To make matters worse, they told us we couldn't cancel the order, even though they were the ones who kept changing the details around the order. read more

Very very very good! I can't describe how amazing the cupcakes and cakes are! Definitely best in the city! I have ordered two cakes one was very simple, and the other had a lot of detail. The "simple" cake turned out pretty, but the "detailed" one did not. Both tasted amazing though! After this experience, I would order again, but I would keep it simple! read more

I can honestly say the strawberry, red velvet, wedding cake, and chocolate swirl cupcakes are as amazingly delicious as Georgetown Cupcakes in DC. Hands down! Moist, delicious, delectable. We paid as much for them, but worth every penny. And, the free-cupcake-on-your-birthday was an added bonus that you don't want to miss. Cupcakes were moist, frosting was just the right amount of sweet and the flavors were spot on. The strawberry cupcake actually tasted like real strawberries and not the overly sweet flavor that you sometimes get with cake. read more
