100% - Highly Recommended!…read more I purchased a car in Chicago and had some work done on it there. Not only did they over-charge me but the work was not completed properly and diagnostics were incorrect. I barely made it back to Michigan and was terrified the entire drive. I then brought my car into L&T. Night and day difference! Not only did they correct things, they were able to PROPERLY diagnose the issues. One issue was going to be quite costly, if repaired in a certain manner. I was given three options for that issue and was not pushed in any direction. I appreciate being spoken to like an adult and treated with respect. My car drives flawlessly now and should I ever need anything in the future, I will be returning here!

Needless to say the car got stuck when I backed up and over some railroad ties and my car's axel rested on the ties. I randomly called this tow service (they had no reviews) and hoped for the best. Denise, at the office, dispatched one of their trucks and when he couldn't get the job done the owner came out personally (talk about service!!!) together they got the job done! A+ job guys! Thanks for getting me back in good graces with the hubs! Cheers!

Im panicking...my daughter is fussy and my car insurance has me on hold for 10 minutes and counting. I have no time to waste with a little in the backseat. So incredibly thankful for this man and this tow company that came to our rescue in less than 15 min. He gave me clear direction as what to do in finding a tire and what closest place to look while on the phone before he made it to us. Ive waited for tow services before and everytime was close to 45 min to a hr before one came...this was the first time help came so quick in our time of need. He took the initiative and called a reliable tire service company to have my new tire put on right away. This was the most polite and kind hearted man that gave us the best customer service and just a all around stand up man. Just his kindness and swiftness at his job made my whole crappy week and weekend better knowing good people with good intentions are still out here to help in the best possible way in any situation.

Life savers! So,…read moreFrohriep did not work on my car because they don't do the sort of thing I needed. HOWEVER, they did bail me out of a very stressful situation. My Audi was making an ungodly noise and I was on my way to a graduation event in which my niece was speaking. I hobbled over to Frohriep, per a recommendation from a kindly neighbor. The male owner (Mike) drove my suv to the lifty thing and took a look. Major bad news, especially since I was on my way to an important event. Broken rear springs! What?! How?! As I said, they don't do that sort of work, as they are a body shop. BUT, they hooked me up with TUFFY and Tuffy was able to get me in right away (thanks Dusty and James). The female owner (Michele) called to check on rental cars and drove me to Enterprise and waited while I secured a rental! Mike insisted on driving my poor car to Tuffy himself. Frohriep did all of this knowing they wouldn't make a dime off of me! They are GOOD PEOPLE who care about others in the community. They were a godsend to me that awful day. I will definitely use them if I ever need body work.

We drive a 2004 F150 with about 215k miles on it and we live in Southern California. We were…read morevisiting family in Howe, IN a few thousand miles ago when the check engine light started flashing. Thanks to a family member, there was a code reader nearby and we were able to self diagnose "cylinder 5 misfire". We knew we were past due for spark plugs, so this seemed to be the most likely fix. Anybody familiar with the 5.4l Triton V8 knows that this is not a job for a novice and you can expect broken spark plugs stuck in the cylinders from the slightest misstep. As we were on vacation, we had neither the tools not the 'give a damn' for the job. Yelp reviews are awesome but not super common for local businesses in small town USA. My sister in law Kat recommended The Bent Wrench as they had been recommended to her for repairs on her 2005 F150. My husband called to ask to have the spark plugs replaced and was told that The Bent Wrench was quite thoroughly booked, but, if we dropped the truck off they would squeeze us in as soon as possible! They charged a very reasonable labor rate and were all quite friendly people. We dropped the truck off around 1pm that day and were able to pick it up before 5pm the next day. We drove it 35-40 miles that evening and everything seemed to be 100%. Of course, Murphy's law applies double to road trips! The next morning, we were set to leave for the next leg of our trip. About 10 miles out from Kat's house, the engine light starts flashing again. The code was once again "cylinder 5 misfire"! We turned around and drove directly to The Bent Wrench and discussed the problem. They then replaced the coil on cylinder #5 and we were once again happily on our way! Maybe the coil was the original problem but that seems unlikely since it ran so well when we picked it up. It's pretty common for the coils to be fine before you mess with them and then not fine soon after you put them back. Either way, when we first called, we asked for new spark plugs, not the diagnosis and repair of an unknown issue. We made it home, on schedule, with no additional problems and then got the biggest surprise! The Bent Wrench called to ask if we'd made it home without any additional issues! We are happy we chose them and absolutely satisfied with the result!
