I agree, not a great place as far as bakery goes, it's a chain and definitely I've had better bread and pastry elsewhere. However, I'm a fan because they have Norwegian waffles.
It's funny, many travel guides to Norway recommend Norwegian waffle as something you should try. However, when you ask any Norwegian, she or he will tell you that it's normally something they make at home. And many are not sure where you can actually go taste one at a shop. I was lucky enough to try one made by a friend, but I couldn't quite ask her to take our her waffle iron whenever I want one, so I was on a mission to find the waffles at a store.
