After visiting a newly opened restaurant in College Town, I took my co-workers on a field trip adventure to show them some of the tastiest and most coveted items by TC Bakery fans. I grabbed a slice of the red velvet cake with cookies and cream cheesecake icing for my son, classic yellow cake with chocolate frosting for my husband, two mini sweet potato pies with a slice of plain pound cake for my father-in-law, and a slice of German chocolate cake for me. Jennifer's cakes, cheesecakes, and pies are so moist and perfect every time I buy them. I bought my sister's engagement cake from here and we have bought full birthday cake rounds for various birthdays in our house. My husband equates her cakes to the rich comfort cakes you can get at a church function, which is high praise. Service was fast and friendly. Okay let me explain the reason I am writing this review. I will start with my Birthday has been a thing of legends thus far. I will fast forward to me cutting half of a lemon blueberry cinnamon roll and placing it in the microwave. I warmed it for 30 seconds. I take one bite and for a brief moment I thought I heard angels singing. I walk to my 14 year old son's room and I tell him that today I have tasted the best Cinnamon Roll I have ever tasted in my 52 years on this earth. I tell him to that he should go get one (I bought a 4 pack). Then I thought about it. Son if you do this at 14 all other cinnamon rolls will be failures and I hope he lives a long time. I told him the decision was his to make I don't want to deny him the glory of this experience but where do you go from here? I will ask this to TC Bakery. 1st Thank you. 2nd My God, What's next? For those who have never tried it just know that you will be biting into divine excellence and also know that you may be setting yourself up to wishing she made all your desserts.
