I decided to hire her for dinner services since she was the only chef in the area to respond to my request. The food was less than mediocre/salty, and her prices were well above the average chefs. I did not complain, and I gave her a 20% tip. I decided to give her another try, so I requested a breakfast quote, but she tried to charge an outlandish fee of $700 for two people. I questioned the charges, and she decided to drop the price to $500. I texted her multiple times before the scheduled date, but she never responded. A week before services, I reached out to her, and she finally responded five days before the scheduled appointment. She told me she had a cold, so she could not respond, and she would be unable to provide services for the planned date. I have never known anyone suffering from a cold who could not contact the client well in advance and inform them they could not make the scheduled appointment. I would be leery of hiring her and ensuring she provides an itemized list of all your requests. Experience is a good teacher.

Zaragoza.....well, he drove around for about 20 min., unable to locate "Piece of Cake" nor 1617. He pulled over, found their facebook page and noticed it said 1613 N. Zaragoza. He went to the shopping center where it was supposed to be located and there was no "Piece of Cake" sign. He figured out where it was based on the suite number and noticed a small "Piece of Cake" paper sign on their door. Mind you their FB page says it closes at 8 P.M., so he was upset when he went in (door was still open) and some guy was like "Umm, we're kinda closed." THEN LOCK THE DOOR AND CHANGE THE ONLINE INFORMATION, IDIOTS!!! Not to mention that my husband left a dissatisfactory comment on their FB wall to express his displeasure, only to have his comment deleted the next day without an apology or even an attempt to make it better, e.g., they could've offered a coupon or something! So, we will NOT be making any more attempts to try this place......

Priscilla didn't charge me for delivering to my son's school. She charges for delivery to other parts of town. My son's teacher loved the treat and gesture. We also sent one to another teacher of his. Mexa also sells a half dozen churros with 2 dipping sauces for $7. They also have larger packages. I'm thinking of ordering some for Mother's Day. I haven't tried the churros yet. Based on what I've read and what my son's teacher told me, I'm sure they taste good. Consider ordering from them for a get together and/or a small token of your appreciation for someone. This week is National Teachers and Nurses Week! Thank a nurse and/or teacher. There was a severe thunderstorm the day of pick up and to be safe, she suggested if I didn't feel comfortable driving, that pickup could be moved with no rescheduling or cancellation fee. As for the churros they were truly authentic. I ordered 2 dozen and everyone in my family devoured them within 10 minutes when I took them to a party. They were crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside, super tasty! They were exactly like the churros my family had growing up in Mexico. They were a hit! One recommendation I have is that I bought too many dipping sauces. The churros are delicious on their own and had many left over sauces. But If you are buying extra dipping sauces, the cajeta was the family favorite. I'll definitely be buying from Ms. Valles again!

Outstanding. I ordered Big T's Texas Breakfast: two eggs any style, bacon, and pancakes or French toast. I chose scrambled eggs and pancakes. The presentation was impressive, looking more like something you'd expect at a high-end hotel restaurant. The eggs were folded neatly, omelet-style, into a triangle and cooked perfectly--flavorful and fluffy. The bacon was crispy yet juicy, just right. They came with butter mixed with brown sugar and cinnamon, and a side of and maple syrup, which took them to another level. Junction has locally made hot sauce on the table, and fair warning as both packed some serious heat and paired perfectly with the eggs. What really stood out was the attentive service. Secondly, the donuts I picked out all had pretty dry doughs. You can eat them without but a coffee to wash them down is a needed addition which I did not know at the time I bought them. I don't know if this is the case here or not but the dough texture reminded me a little of Hurt's Donuts where they bring in frozen pre-cooked, undecorated doughnuts, then just decorate them with the various toppings.
