The chicken pizza was good. Not outstanding. Both needed more cheese . The chicken pizza also lacked flavor. The crust is outstanding! Fabulous sour dough pizza crust. They have an array of ingredients no other pizzeria in town has including Portuguese sausage Linguiça similar to Spanish sausage longaniza but more difficult to find. What struck me here was the best tasting blueberry sourdough scone I have ever had the pleasure of eating!!! Made fresh every morning by young woman named Leslie with the best attitude and a skilled baker! Texture, flavor, mixture consistency, fruit spread successfully throughout the scone . A texture that was divine in nature. Excellent bake goods!! I need to drop by for their chocolate scone I was told it is very good as well. If looking for a place to sit and enjoy your dinner Mangini's has games, music and seating all at a pleasurable range. The music isn't too loud and those dining were all very neighborly. The young people that work there make your dining experience even better. Great attitudes, professional and friendly. All without looking like they were working at. Naturally good people. Fast service for a 'make as you order' restaurant. Good pizza, better crust and bake goods that might just put your mom's bakeries to shame. Yes I will eat here again but if I order a chicken pizza I'll dress it up with linguica or onion and bell pepper. Maybe all three. That pizza crust will bring you back.

I got an 8" The Rooster and it was delicious. I wish I would have gotten a bigger pie so I'd have some for later. Then again, it was so good I probably would've finished it on the spot. It might sound odd to say you're going to Mexico for authentic Italian food, but this is the place. Everything is delicious, fresh, and full of love. We always start with the Caprese salad. Then we share a pizza (always thin, crispy, and flavorful) and sometimes a pasta dish. A glass of wine completes the meal and sets the perfect tone for the rest of the drive. What really makes Ollie's special is the heart behind it all. The owner named the place after his beloved dog, Ollie. When Ollie passed away, he got another dog and gave it the same name. so "Ollie" has always been there, welcoming us back each time like an old friend. Also, I usually have a thing about bathrooms (I'm picky!), but this one is super clean , which I really appreciate. Friendly service, great food, and a story that sticks with you. Ollie's is a Rosarito must. As a sidenote : this place is only open in the late afternoons and evenings. It's walking distance from Las Gaviotas , which I know is a very popular place for Americans to visit.
