I stumbled in this shop quite at random one day, having spied all of the different types of soaps…read morefor sale through the window. I remembered finding carbolic soap once in a store like this one and ever since that store closed, I've been looking for a local Supply. (It's red soap that smells kind of funny, but if you shave your head like me, nothing is better for preventing bumps and the funny smell goes away soon after you dry off. It's the same kind of surgeons used to scrub up with before operating, like on the TV show MASH. You've never felt as clean, let me tell you as with showering with this stuff. But I digress . . .) What a hidden gem! In addition to all of those different kinds of exotic soap the first caught by eye, there are all sorts of other beauty supplies catering to folks with ethnic and natural hair particularly. BUT if a curious white guy with a shaved head can find some pretty amazing stuff in here, just imagine what YOU might find yourself. There's a huge display case and shelves of genuine designer scents and scented oils, the kind you might give to someone special or treat yourself too. But these fragrances are not knock offs, they are THE BONAFIDE GENUINE DEAL So far I've met Marjorie who's one of the super friendly and very knowledgeable owner/managers as well as Paul, a friendly Store employee who also knows the products very well and has a fine welcoming smile. Their Island charm as well as a deep knowledge of the varied and excellent products and prices are sure to beckon you back time and again. Check out all the really cool stuff on the back wall too: clothes and some random cool things for sale A great shop and hidden gem. I wish these folks much success!

I always find what I need and leave smelling divine! Highly recommend for any Arabic perfume/cologneread more

She is a great educator who is clearly passionate about this craft! I especially appreciate how she keeps the formulas for each scent so we can return and purchase another bottle. We also purchased the universal base layer oil and have been in LOVE with it! The oil's fragrance lasts all day and the oil itself and thick and moisturizing. We cannot wait to return!

GREAT EXPERIENCE, BUT OUR CARS WERE BOOTED DUE TO UNCLEAR PARKING INFORMATION…read more My date and I genuinely enjoyed our experience at Note & Accord. The fragrance making session was fun, unique, and a great date experience. The actual experience itself deserves a great review. Unfortunately, what happened with the parking completely changed how the evening ended. My date and I actually arrived approximately an hour early. We parked in the back parking area and remained there for the entire hour before our session. No one approached us, told us that we couldn't park there, or warned us that our vehicles could be booted. Had we known, we obviously would have moved our vehicles and parked on the street. There were five couples in our session, and several of us parked our vehicles in the back parking lot. My date and I drove separately. At the end of the session, we all went outside and discovered that our vehicles had been booted. The other guests stated that they had to pay $250 per vehicle to have the boots removed. I paid cash and was charged $200 for mine. Either way, this was a significant and completely unexpected expense. What bothered me most was the lack of clear communication BEFORE the session. My date made the reservation and did not receive an email advising him not to park in the back lot or warning that vehicles parked there could be booted. What was even more frustrating was that at the very END of the session, the owner mentioned the booting situation and told us that we should have parked on the street instead of in the back parking lot. By the time this information was shared, it was already too late, our vehicles had been booted. If the owner was aware that vehicles parked in the back lot were subject to being booted, this is extremely important information that should have been communicated before guests arrived or, at the very least, at the beginning of the session. Not at the very end. And my biggest concern is: What if someone didn't have an extra $200-$250 available to have the boot removed? Not everyone can unexpectedly come up with hundreds of dollars on the spot. Imagine enjoying your evening and then discovering that you cannot leave because you don't have the money available to have your vehicle released. That could put someone in a very difficult and stressful situation. The fact that we were sitting in the back parking area for an entire hour before our appointment without being warned, combined with multiple guests from the same session having their vehicles booted, makes the lack of clear parking instructions even more concerning. This could easily be prevented by putting a very noticeable warning in every booking confirmation: DO NOT PARK IN THE BACK PARKING LOT. STREET PARKING ONLY. VEHICLES PARKED IN THE LOT ARE SUBJECT TO BOOTING. I want to be fair because we truly enjoyed Note & Accord and the fragrance-making experience itself was great. However, spending money on an experience and then walking outside to an additional $200-$250 expense per vehicle is an awful way to end a wonderful date. Hopefully, management takes this seriously and makes the parking restrictions unmistakably clear to guests BEFORE they arrive, especially since the booting issue was known and mentioned by the owner at the end of our session. For anyone planning to visit: DO NOT PARK IN THE BACK LOT. Confirm exactly where you're permitted to park before going inside.

Personal care, cosmetics, some snacks and drinks, greeting cards, a seasonal aisle and of course, a full service pharmacy. Easy enough to find stuff, pay for it, and be on my way. This location does offer a drive through for their pharmacy. I'm a fan! [Review 10805 overall, 573 of 2019.]

Although it's hard to imagine, things at this pharmacy have gone from bad to worse…read more Today was the typical drive-thru pickup ridiculousness....but when I finally reached the service window, after waiting in my car for an hour, I was handed a clipboard with a paper that read, "CASH ONLY". Okay, their systems are down and life happens, but how hard would it be to VISIBLY post "CASH ONLY" for all of the drivers waiting in line? When I called before driving here and spoke to a pharmacist--who assured me that my prescription was ready for pickup--why didn't she mention that I need to have cash? Where is the basic level of logic here? I'm not sure whether this message was visible to customers waiting in-store prior to them reaching their service window. At this pharmacy, in-store and drive-thru wait times seem to be exactly the same, so I haven't bothered waiting inside recently, and can only vouch for my current drive-thru experience. When I return in the evening, cash-equipped, there is now a sign taped to the drive-up window that says "CASH ONLY". Should this be viewed as progress, an evolution from clipboard to window? EVERYONE WAITING IN LINE STILL CANNOT SEE "CASH ONLY". IT'S ONLY WHEN YOU ARE AT THE ACTUAL WINDOW, AFTER WAITING AT LEAST AN HOUR, THAT YOU ARE INFORMED OF THIS POLICY. TAPE AT LEAST ONE "CASH ONLY" SIGN TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE TO SAVE CUSTOMERS. I AM TYPING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I HOPE WALGREENS WILL EVENTUALLY HEAR ME AND STOP UNDERSTAFFING AND (PROBABLY) UNDERPAYING THIS PHARMACY, OR WHATEVER THE UNDERLYING PROBLEM IS. I've never had these issues at another Walgreens pharmacy, or any pharmacy, ever. Even if this location initially seems more convenient, you'll end up wasting more time and headaches than necessary to justify a shorter drive. As stated in my previous review: save yourself and go elsewhere. Sugar Creek Walgreens pharmacy is only declining.

The selection here is incredible, with aisles full of hair care, wigs, styling tools, and beauty essentials. Prices felt fair, and everything was easy to find. The young lady that waited on me at checkout didn't speak at all until she told me my total and I spoke to her as I walked to the counter. No one offered service with a smile. The two people I approached in the store for assistance tried to help me but she told me she didn't work in my area and wasn't knowledgeable about what I was looking for. The other person said they didn't have the inventory I was looking for and probably don't carry it, which didn't make sense. It was like saying we have peanut butter and jelly but we don't sell bread. The focus of this store seems to be for customers that prefer the style of wigs/weave/ braids/locs. They also have a large amount of products for maintenance of these styles. There isn't a strong representation for those with a more conservative look. The size of this store should be able to accommodate products and equipment for all hair styles including men and barbering and salon products regardless of ethnicity. The plus is they have a good amount of products, just not enough to accommodate ethnicities and all styles which they can due to the size of the store.
