My personal favorite park to go to for disc golf! The course is a well maintained eighteen holes and has just the right amount of difficulty and fun. The park has more than just that though, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, a baseball diamond, and a playground and restroom facilities round out the offerings. There is plenty of parking as well, I've been here several times on the weekend and never had an issue. If the weather is good, come spend an afternoon!

It was quite busy - not surprising given the mid 80s temps and not a cloud in sight. But I was still able to find some quieter areas. It's nice loop to walk around and there is plenty of seating, benches, trash receptables, plus restrooms. Not sure if there is normally a fee to park/enter, but I did not have to pay on my visit. Highly recommend for a leisurely excursion! @azfitfoodfun

Jetton Park is perfect for hot days. It's in a wooded area so it's a well shaded. There's lots for kids to do and while most of the stuff I will say is geared towards kids five and up there are things for younger kids to do and I do appreciate the handicap swings. Kids younger than three have a very tiny area to play compared to everything else. They're definitely going to be drawn to the main play area, which is bigger and you might have bigger kids running around so that creates a little bit of an unsafe situation when you have a mix of uncoordinated children, and bigger rowdy kids. Even if your kids are bigger doesn't mean that they'll be able to use everything at the park. Some of the things are definitely geared towards balance and coordination so if your kids are not well coordinated or have good balance or can catch themselves if they fall I would stay close by. The other thing I love about this park is that we can bring our bikes and take a ride down to the water and let the kids play by the sanded area. The trails are beautiful and you'll definitely get some good distance in if you're going to go to any of the stops along the trail.

Clean. Open. Some shaded areas…read more I don't have children or much need for a park but this park is on one of my running routes. It has a quick "trail" that is shaded and always happily welcomed at that point of my run. I am also a huge fan of kids being outside, playing with their parents or other kids. I know that is ridiculously easy of me to say since I don't have any little gremlins of my own running around; however, after spending over a decade in youth development programming, I love to see kids get messy and smelly. I am always excited to see families enjoying this park in one way or another: lunch under the pavilion, playing on the playground or a game of baseball. The facilities, to me, look to be cared for at all times with green grass, safe equipment and clean bathrooms... I don't really see how you can go wrong here. There is a super tiny parking lot and some okay street parking. I "believe" you are able to park at the legion parking lot across the street. The weather is perfect right now for some park time. Keep the pups at home or keep them on their leash as there isn't a dog area here.

There is also plenty of room between fields for the next two teams to warm-up. And, of course, these fields are used for practice. Speaking of practice. Yes, Mr. Iverson ... practice! I wasn't aware that our team was meeting 30 minutes early for last week's game in order to practice. One of the parents of another player on our team knew I was active on Yelp and messaged me via Yelp to let me know to get there early (he didn't have my email address). So, always check your Yelp messages! You never know what could be there. Getting back to the field, it's a great facility. I know most people like to complain, but they're really just searching for things to complain about without even realizing they're doing it. I'm not one of those people. I'd rather appreciate things. This park is well maintained, just as is every other park in Cornelius. It's not really a park to go for a walk, but it's an excellent sports/splash park facility. Highly recommended.
