She sent me paint samples that arrived next day and I had my colors picked out two days later. If it weren't for her and her expertise I'd still be going down the Pinterest rabbit hole! I can't recommend House Candy Home enough!

My house was never right - the layout isn't the greatest and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong with design. Ashley came in and identified the issues. She spent time analyzing each room and sent me a summary after we met. She's so good that she will move accessories around herself to get them right - right on the spot instead of leaving it to you to figure out. She literally helped me move heavy furniture because she cares about the end result. I am thrilled with how the house is shaping up now. My house is transformed from slightly off and maybe a little cluttered to stylish now. I was never a fan of the house before but now I think it looks great. I can't thank Ashley enough and HIGHLY recommend her. She is a genius! (And she's also a sweet, kind person.

If I could give a zero rating I would. We rented this vacation home through Airbnb. The company and…read morehost who handles it is Surf City. I am we paid close to $2300 for three nights stay for five people. The pictures works very deceiving. This house is located by the beach which drew our attention. We were aware that this specific house was divided into two separate buildings. The pictures look great exactly what we were looking for. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the bathrooms did not have doors one shower did not have warm or hot water after contacting the host multiple times by text and phone the issue with the hot water was not fixed. Well, waiting for the plumbers second attempt to fix the hot water. We literally had to leave one building walk outside to the other building to take a shower and because there were no doors to the bathrooms we had to undress and after dress inside the shower-stall. The complaint was made for the lack of toilet paper. Which I know may be funny, but three rolls of toilet paper for two bathrooms for five people for three nights was clearly not enough. After being frustrated by not receiving communication from the host, we contacted Airbnb customer service to file a complaint, but by then it was checkout time. Pictures were sent, showing the bathroom areas where the hinges on the wall at one point had doors. Upon reviewing the checkout rules,, which was making sure all windows were closed and locked, we noticed two broken windows that had dirt, little bit of mold, and some cobwebs forming. The fabric shades we thought was dirt was actually mold. This place was clearly not advertised correctly and Airbnb and the host have failed to refund us our money which according to their website states that if there is anything missing or broken or is not advertised correctly a refund is provided. We were the second family to rent this specific location, future customers traveling to Capitola beware do not rent this place or from this company, Surf City they will not honor what they say in their policy However, they will gladly take your money.

We thought this would take a week but it took 3 days - those goats take their work seriously. The good: -Billie and the goats and dogs (and emu) are all delightful. Billie was extremely accommodating and hard working. The goats and dogs are absolute sweethearts and all come running when they see you for pets. -Poison oak is now extinct on my property. -The ground is fertilized and there is nothing to clean up other than sticks. The bad: -Noise. The "baaa"-ing was one thing, but the guard dogs were pretty brutal through the night. We had some coyotes hanging around so there was lots of barking. So that's it, thanks for following. I'm really happy to finally be able to present this and I'm actively brainstorming on how we can get a goat co-op going in our neighborhood.

I held off writing this review until I had at least six months of experience with this management…read morecompany. Many of us home owners were hoping for an improvement going from a one person management company to a larger one that appears to have 10 or more people working for them. Sadly I can't say there's been any improvement. Rancor in board meetings is allowed to run rampant with no oversight or attention to allowing members to speak freely without being interrupted and shouted down. This is most certainly the duty of the management company but it gets ignored in most case A lot of the anger in this community against the board and the management company relates to our security system which was paid for with our own HoA dues. We are paying $500 per unit on average which went up with the addition of the new management company entering as they are more costly than our previous. Anyway, Crime such as vehicle break-ins are on the upswing most likely because people walk into this ungated community and see that there is no sign of cameras except for ones that are disabled and unplugged. When we report these things to the HOA and the management company they are ignored. That is until somebody brings it up on a board meeting and then a condescending email is sent out saying essentially "be sure to lock your car doors and windows! If you have any issues to report just go to law-enforcement don't bother us with it". The cameras were dismantled by memebers of the HoA (no fault of DeCamara in this case) 24 cameras that were creating deterrent to criminals trying doors and finding ways to climb into vehicles are now gone or disabled. we have no record of crimes or HoA rule breaking like dumping which is now also on the rise. DeCamara often fails to return mails or communicate in any useful way about meeting times. Meetings went from being on a regular day each month to being scattered all over the place. it's almost impossible to realign the dayplanner and move one's own schedule to be able to attend these meetings. Construction is constantly underway and I will say that DeCamara has not done anything to impede that process but it was already in motion when they took over. Why construction? The buildings were erected in the 1980s so they are now 40 years old and parts of them are falling apart in certain areas. As homeowners we have to pay assessments to get these things fixed. But I do blame decamera for is these fees are not delineated on the statements or the invoices. Due dates are not specified either. One day you just get a bill with a giant past due notice and a threat to take a lien out against your home for your delinquency. There needs to be a line item for assessments and another for standard HOA fees. Of course our HOA fees go up every year about 20% too and none of this is communicated on the statements. so we are left to try to figure things out using the Facebook group and talking to each other in person I have had to move all of the communications from the previous management company into an AI service called notebookLM by Google so that I can ask you questions when this kind of confusion comes up. Biggest problems: meeting oversight communication. I have under condo here for over 12 years and thought I would be here through my retirement. Having seen the writing on the wall these last six months I have sold my condo here and I'm moving away for a while. I will definitely not be coming back to Baywood at Northshore with this current HOA membership and this management company in place.
