It was recommended to me by a friend when I said I was in a pickle finding something for my partner for Christmas. Although I didn't find anything this time I will definitely be taking him to Apartment to check it out for himself. The long thin store stock designs mostly from Japan, as well as men's shoes, magazines, hair products and cologne. The clothing is functional and funky. Don't be fooled though, they put all the small sizes on the racks but there are more at the back of the store. There's usually only one or two of the same item hung up at the same time. Despite the high prices, these are the kinds of clothes you can't really find anywhere else in Brisbane. If you are a fashion forward young man, or you have one in your life, I definitely suggest giving Apartment a look. Don't be overwhelmed with the prices, because these kinds of clothes are investment pieces that will last a life time if looked after.

With brands such as Nudie, Bassike, Saint Augustine Academy and Vanishing Elephant, it's no wonder the sexy young men of Brisbane keep their eye on Angus Black. The store is a fantastic space. Simple and clean lined, exactly like the clothes stocked. A pre-warning though boys- you would want to save those pretty pennies before making a trip to Angus Black because the clothes are irresistible, yet a little on the expensive side. The pieces are of such high quality though, that shopping there would be more of an investment in your wardrobe than a frivolous spending spree.

It's a friendly little store, expect to be greeted kindly on your way in with a hello and a smile, the sales girl was a model-esque creature floating gracefully around the store who helped us pick out a present for a friend of mine. After kindly rejecting the three $150 t shirts she suggested we decided to go elsewhere but not without promising to come back again later as soon as we had the money. This place would get 5 stars but I'm still too depressed at the look of my bank account after going back and purchasing a pair of jeans.

I like this store for picking up my basic clothes that I might not wear on a nice night out, but I will most certainly get some solid use out of. Things like singlets, polo shirts, jeans and shorts. Pretty dress shops are my favourite to look in, but when it comes down to it, how many cocktail dresses does one need really? Where as is this store, I can pick up half a dozen things without feeling guilty or breaking the bank balance. I actually have at least 3 of the same shirt in different colours at one stage because it was so comfortable and fit really well.

The different clothes sections (Women's, Men's and Children) are separate to one another in a very deliberate way, the change rooms are managed efficiently and there is a good variety of clothes without it being too overwhelming. I found the staff to be reasonably nice, though the person at the door may not let you in if you are holding a drink. The main issue that I had with the store was that XL sized stock was either non existent or hard to find, when going through the different sizes. I am not sure whether they stock less larger sizes, or whether it was simply a popular size for men. I would definitely recommend giving H&M a visit at least once, and seeing whether it is your cup of tea.

When you are a mum on a budget, you want to be able to dress your family affordably and while H&M does that, more selection for boys is needed. Knowing that I was travelling back to New Zealand, she asked me if I would like my pyjama set wrapped in tissue paper. lol! I had to refrain from making an adroit remark. My wife bought herself two sets of sleepwear. Love this place. Not sure if they have P.A in NZ but I'll be looking online to see if anything else jumps out at me wanting to be purchased. Great store space with great presentation. Clean and uncluttered. Discreet changing room for those who don't want to be seen trying on the sleepwear. Great range of sleepwear to suit moderate to expensive tastes. This is not a low cost retailer. All in all, highly recommended. Three out of three thumbs up!

They can also help you with suits, ties and cufflinks, but the main focus is quality Italian shirts for men and women.
