It is small so the range of clothing is not enormous, but there are some lovely items here, and the accessories are plentiful. It's a popular place, busy with young girls and their mums browsing. I saw a number of things I really liked, but without having an event in mind for their debut, decided it was best to hold back this time. The prices are moderate and everything appears to be great quality. I was surprised to stumble across it, situated in a tiny shopping mall opposite a Coles supermarket - not where you'd usually expect to find a trendy boutique.

The store is full of second hand clothes all in good condition and the service was OK, although not all too friendly or helpful. The worst thing about the shop was the prices. Asking $80 for a second hand pretty plain looking sportscraft dress is a bit much if you ask me. Every piece in the store seemed to suffer the same overpriced fate. There was not anything there that I would actually buy for the price they were asking. Still, I will probably keep going in just in case that hidden gem unearths itself. After all there is no harm in browsing.

Julia has done a great job with her collection; the store is a decent size and it's packed with loads of adorable dresses. Looking at the labels most of them are imported. I love going into the store but when I'm strapped for time/being really lazy I just jump on their website and browse the range of awesome clothes at my disposal. Their Facebook page also keeps you up to date with all their latest specials, popular items, and new arrivals, giving you a personalised feeling and the strong urge to just keep buying their stuff. There's just the right mix of flirty, fun, striking, and strong in their clothing mix, and I've never been into the store and not instantly fallen in love with something. Shorts, skirts, dresses, accessories; bold prints, bright colours, pastels, and whites. Garnsis has an amazing range of it all. There are styles to compliment every girl and you'll probably spend ages running through their racks of clothing.

The clothes stocked aren't really my style but you can definitely see why it's popular. It's reasonably priced and the perfect place to shop if you need an outfit for a festival or a cute new summer dress. Although, given that the brands stocked are popular in a lot of stores means that there is the chance that you could have one of those awkward "oh my goodness we're wearing the same dress" moments. Garnsis also has you covered if you're after bits and bobs like new sunnies, some fun jewelry or even nail polish. Despite not being really my thing, this cute little place is definitely worth a look for any young ladies who love a good shopping spree.

This is hands down, my favourite op shop in Brisbane. I did think twice about writing this review,…read moreas there is a part of me that desperately wants to keep this place a secret. But I says to myself I says, "Asthma Foundation is an op shop, and the more business they get, the more help they can provide to others". Yeeah. You're best to treat Mitchelton Asthma Foundation like a genie that will provide you with eternal materialistic wishes. I walked in there yesterday wishing for a large, oven proof casserole dish, (rare as hens teeth in op shops these days I find), and sure enough, up in the back corner of the shop, I found exactly what I was looking for. Other times, I've wished for sequined costumes, Victorian style brooches, crocodile figurines, all sorts of things. If you can imagine it, you'll probably find it in here. The back end of the shop is devoted to costumes. They have organised it into eras- from 1950's- 1990's. They've even got a sign that says "We love helping you with costumes, please ask us for assistance as we have more out the back that you may like". Bless! I don't know how it happens, but this Asthma Foundation has great costumes and clothes. It is a gold mine in every way you look at it. The real treasure trove part of this shop is the fabric collection at the back end of the store. If you're into sewing or textile crafts, this is the place to come. You'll even find some well priced vintage fabric if you're lucky. Because it's a suburban op shop, the prices haven't been jacked up which means it's a great place to find a bargain find, or more likely, finds. Bring a large garbage bag when you go in there and stock up. This shop makes everyone happy, from the shop ladies who sing along to the olden goldies radio station they listen to in store, to the customers who dance in store and sit on the ground making monstrous purchase piles.

Reasonably priced, well presented and neat but still heaps to dig through and find a gem. There is parking on the street at the front but it can be a bit difficult to snag a spot during lunch hour. The clothes are well organised into sizes, womens, mens and kids and the range of accessories is fantastic. Some awesome bargains to be had. The staff are always friendly and happy to have a chat. I have never failed to find an amazing score each time I go (including a beatiful brand new black dress with lace details and POCKETS for under $5). So good I almost don't want to share.

With friends visiting from San Francisco we were exploring Winn Lane and I finally ventured into this small nook known as Sunday Social. Upon walking in I realised it was the exact opposite, there's something for everyone here. Full to the brim with carefully selected vintage clothes and accessories I began searching through the racks with endless pieces catching my attention. I couldn't resist walking out of the store with two tops for $90, which, if you think about your mainstream stores could easily equate to one top that a handful of others will also be wearing. For the same price I've gotten two tops, that I'll be hard pressed to find others wearing. Best of all as an introvert, the sales assistant let us just browse without hovering over our shoulders at every second. Sunday Social feels like discovering a secret world of clothes with great stories. I'm so glad I walked in and know I'll be back to revisit their racks for one of the kinds from this vintage wonderland.

I had never even heard of the Winn Lane markets until my friend suggested we stop by on one of your shopping trips in the Valley. The lane is lined with drawings on the walls and market stalls, all filled with lovely jewellery pieces and vintage wares. It reminded me a lot of the lanes and alleys you find in Melbourne so I was more than enthused to see what was down there. It's so nice and secluded that you feel a little like Alice going down the rabbit hole. Anyway, enough about the lane itself. Sunday Social is perched at its end like a tidy little cottage. It's a tiny, gorgeous little shop with vintage clothes and pieces, including a very sweet range of shoes. Indie kids would have a field day in Sunday Social, but I also think it has a little something for everyone. Their pieces are just so gorgeous with bags hanging in its middle with accessories dotting the central table. Guys are confined to a rail and a few shoes but girls have their pick. They have clothes from cute peter pan collared dresses through to funky light, fluttery tops. There's also a really random but totally awesome Indian headdress behind the counter the wall too, just for a little bit of flair. I hear this gorgeous little place went from being a market stall along Winn Lane to a now staple store with four walls. It's no wonder, because they have such gorgeous novelty vintage pieces that you'd be crazy to pass by. Sunday Social has no phone number as yet but you can email them! sundaysocialstore@gmail.com
