She is easy to communicate with despite the many miles between us, and she knows her stuff! She always gets us the best deals, and will continue to check even after the reservations are made to make sure that the price hadn't changed. The great thing about her is that she herself has been to many of the resorts and can answer first hand most questions. We've never had any problems with our reservations, and have gotten everything we paid for and then some. I would highly recommend Nathalie at Margarita Travel for all of your ClubMed vacations, I will continue to use her as long as we keep going back to our favorite resorts!

We are flying from Calgary home to Phoenix and we are in the E terminal which is considered…read moretransporter. It could not have been easier with our global entry to get through customs and I'm not exaggerating, literally less than five minutes. The airport is clean. There are a ton of services, restaurants and such and maybe it's because our flight time is at 7:30 PM. It is not busy at all! We spotted a kids play area too - I also noticed they had a supply of strollers it appears you can just use to cart kids around and then leave the stroller behind. Cool for not over packing! We did sit in seats near the gate that indicated they had chargers but they didn't work (E term, gate 90)

YYC airport is the closest airport if you're planning to go to Banff or Canmore. It's roughly an…read morehour away from Banff so plan accordingly when you arrive/depart. I'm from the US so I believe my gate was either 15 or 16 for arrivals. If you're renting a car at this airport and you're a US traveler, please note that you'll have a long walk to get to the car rental section which is near gate 7. I want to say I walked for at least 12-15 minutes to get from the arrival gate to gate 7. Departing was pretty quick and easy too. I traveled through American Airlines and found the kiosks to be far more streamlined when checking in versus going up to the counter. From there I went straight through the security and customs line. I was impressed with how smooth that went. Everything was 100% automated and checking in my bags through security while going through the scanners was a breeze. The staff on hand were friendly and moved passengers along with efficiency. As for departure dining, the food options at YYC are mediocre. It was lunch time and I ended up getting a nacho bowl at Mi Casa. It was decent, pricing was ok however it tasted commercial more than anything. I just wasn't wowed. The free Wi-Fi in this airport has good signal with several charging ports at the gates. If I ever find myself coming back to visit Calgary, I wouldn't hesitate to fly through YYC.

Our experience with Lena and the folks at Civilized Adventures was nothing short of Remarkable!…read more There were nine in our family who needed an agent to custom design and execute a 16 day trip for us in New Zealand. We realized that this would be a very complicated ask, but Civilized was definitely up to the task. They organized all of our accommodations, meals ( including dietary restrictions amongst our family members detailed at all restaurants that we visited), activities ( including Zip Lines, America's Cup Boat Ride, Guided Hiking, Guided Kayaking, Hobbiton Tour, Māori Cultural Events, Jet Boat Tours, Fishing Excursions, Sailing Excursions, Train Rides, etc. etc) and Drivers to pick us up and drop us off. One driver / guide was also included to accompany us on nine days of our trip. The entire trip was seemless. Each day our Phone Itinerary App told all of us where we had to be at all times of that day. Civilized did an absolutely fantastic job, and we were so pleased with the result. We have met with them since returning home, in order to find out what future adventure we can ask them to plan for us.

I had an amazing week with them horseback riding, white water rafting, biking, hiking, visiting a dog sled camp and taking an ice walk. Every detail I could think of was taken care of and every question I had answered! Heather and Katrina were SO much fun and so knowledgeable! They made the week come alive with their stories about each and every area we visited. In a world where customer service is sometimes lacking, the level of professionalism shown by this agency and the guides it supplies is beyond reproach. I can only hope that any guides I have in the future are as amazing and make my travel and activities so seamless, detailed and wonderful. Thank you Heather and Katrina for an AMAZING and unforgettable week!

This review is about the Victoria (BC) office of Tier One Travel. I have been travelling and…read moreliving around the world for the last nine years and have never - ever - encountered such an unprincipled company. In a nutshell, I wrote and asked how much it would cost to extend my stay in the country I was visiting. Without authorization from me - and without even hearing back from me - the agent went ahead and charged nearly $500 to my visa account. She had obviously saved my account details from the transaction where I paid for the original ticket. I found out my itinerary had been changed when I arrived at Phnom Penh Airport to check in for my flight. I appealed to the manager, Mike Hill, for assistance and a refund. Instead of assistance, I've received a string of excuses - including the time he must devote to caring for his 84-year old mother (I kid you not). I have not even received an apology. He is now insisting that I come into the office for discussion and suspect 'delay and intimidation' is the order of the day for the Victoria Tier One office. If I ever receive a refund, I'll certainly update this review.
