I got curious because I heard there's something brewing in Marcos Highway, and it's strawberry beer!! I had to give it a try, even if it's not close to the main area of the city. I was thinking their location should be somewhere nearby like in Session Road, but I understood why they placed it at the near outskirts of the city. When I got there, the neighborhood was quiet and all I can see is the bright building where the brewery is. From the main area (Session road / Burnham Park), the cab cost me around PHP80 one way, but there's also a jeep heading to Marcos highway which cost about PHP8-10 one way. Not bad of a deal to head that far out! Located along with a transient type apartment building, BCB has two floors (small area for orders and solo/small groups, upper floor for live bands and larger groups) and separate restrooms for males/ females. I saw their beer selections and I was impressed! They have IPAs, stouts, fruit beers and lagers which is also in order of their alcohol content (thanks for letting me know lol). The lady took my order with a tablet (yay technology) and paid at the cashier. I got Bergnebel (lager) first, then Lagud (strawberry beer). Craft beer can be expensive (about 200PHP / 330ml) but totally worth it. They also have food but I wasn't able to try because I just had dinner before going to their place. My focus was just drinking their beer! haha. You can also bring home 6-pack beer cans (assorted flavors) or their merchandise (love hops hehe). Highly recommend this to the tourists who are in the area, especially if looking for a place to chill and drink in the quiet, less traffic Baguio side.

Wow what can i say about this place the brews are sooo good. I had maybe like 3 beers. The beer doesnt come out cold but its ok. The flavor is more potent when its warm i guess. The appetizers are good. We had the nachos and we also had the fish tacos. If your used to crazy tasty mexican food this will dissapoint but A+ for effort. Here in the phillipines there is not a big abundance of beef from cows. Idk if there is any. So noo melty cheese or savory beef. Ehh it was a very chill and very hospitable place i will come back!!

I am a big lover craft beers and love visiting breweries to see what they have. Back in the Twin Cities, MN (United States) where I am from we have tons of breweries all over the place all serving up their speciality beers. I'm here on vacation in the beautiful city of Baguio and when I saw there was a brewery making craft beers just a walk away from my hotel I decided I just had to try it out! When me and my girlfriend went to the entrance up the stairs we could hear some loud music coming out the door and saw that up next to the bar was some live music playing. Live music is always appreciated at breweries. The bartender was very nice to let us sample as many beers we wanted, they have an amazing American Pale Ale that is very smooth. After a few sample tastes in the end we decided to get the Strawberry beer since Baguio is known for their strawberries and the Lychee beer because I love Lychee and that has to be one of the most unique beers I've ever heard of. Also we ordered some food, buffalo wings and ribs! The beers were both good, light in fruit flavor, a little rough finish but refreshing and the fruit flavor doesn't at all taste artificial. The food was all delicious! The wings too be honest were just good buffalo wings nothing too unique about them. But the ribs were on a different level. They were amazing tender and fall apart delicious, the sauce I swear had a very slight tint of a buffalo sauce flavor to them (and no not from cross flavor contamination of my girlfriends wings). The ribs were served up with some very good fried and a crisp and flavorful slaw, I think maybe some pickled veggies were in the slaw because I could taste a faint vinegar flavor in the slaw. Overall the beer is good and the food is delicous with beer. I would recommend you give this place a try and sample their beers and get some delicious food, I recommend the ribs!
At nearly 5000 feet elevation, Baguio is still pretty hot on a sunny day. So it was today, a Sunday nonetheless, with so many folks making the ride or drive up to get away from the real heat in Manila. When I saw that Baguio had a brewery, I made sure that it was on my itinerary. Make sure that you go to the top floor, 2 flights of stairs. The restrooms are on the second floor. They have quite the beer selection, from IPAs, ales, fruit beers (think sours) to stouts. Their grub is pretty local. I, of course, went way off and ordered the half serving of the fish and chips. Don't expect cod. It's a local fish in a really light batter. I think it was reasonable. My half serving was more than enough to supplement my 2 pints. The vinegar dip was very good. Just a PSA, there is nothing for the vegetarians or vegans, except the usual fries. As for the beers, I started with the raspberry stout, which was very smooth with slight raspberry overtones. Very nice. I tasted the porter and thought it was good, but after the stout, it tasted a bit off. They were also on the lighter side, if you're used to the stuff in the US. BTW the stout is 9.75% ABV, the porter 6.46%. For the tropical environs, perhaps I should have had the pilsner, but these two hit the spot for me. 4 stars in comparison to US breweries, but heck how many breweries are there outside Manila? Highly recommended! read more

This place is one of my go to places in Baguio because of the experience and clean taste. I am not really drinking but for supporting the locals, I would do it. They have live bands, delicious food choices and great ambience. The price is above minimum (beer is about 150 or higher per glass). read more

We are from San Diego, CA, USA. Where there is a craft brewery around every corner. So, we were excited that there was a craft brewery in Baguio!! We came here with high hopes, the Yelpers love this place!! Much to our disappointment the beer was flat, seemingly unfiltered and just all around.. not good! We got a taster tray, and didn't like one beer. We couldn't even finish it. I recommend that people come here only for the food. The food was delicious and full of flavor. Some of the best we have had in our travels. I say come only for food, skip the beer. Get yourself a Sam Mig f on the store, it's a lot cheaper and at least you know what you are going to get. The workers here are very friendly but VERY slow and VERY soft spoken... so they miss things. Overall, I was unhappy with my experience here. read more

Maybe they were having a bad night or batch but their beer that night from Pilsner to Triple IPA were both sour. Also flat and no fizz like another Yelper from San Diego noticed. Never had beer that tasted like sour juice or tamarind juice before. From mildest to intense, they were all sour. I was visiting from Bay Area California where we have several nice craft breweries so know a bit about good beer that tastes like beer. Triple IPA alcohol content close to 10% but after having full glass, felt like I just drank a juice drink and not what I paid for. Local brewery near me in San Jose CA has triple IPA that will get you tipsy just drinking a third of a glass of it. 1 star for the beers that night but giving place 2 stars for atmosphere and food. Fish tacos were really good. Sisig wraps could be better if prepared more traditional way. Sisig was fried bits which just fell off the lettuce wraps. Ribs were good but corn had zero seasoning and butter. If management is reading this, please taste test your beer before opening for the night. Went to this place watching Mikey Bustos vlog but disappointed that night. Hoping it was just an isolated night. I came in on a Monday night on 7/22/2019. Oh and they don't have flights to try out so can't sample and pay for a good variety. Wait staff also couldn't recommend anything but to me sounds like they're unaware of their own beer or don't care. read more

Innovative beer but expensive. I just went here out of curiosity. Still i'll go with commercial beers, cheaper and tastes better. This just go against someone who said that "Good beer ain't cheap and cheap beer ain't good" because a lot of cheaper beers are still better. read more

History
Established in 2014.
Baguio Craft Brewery was created from humble beginnings. It started with a home brew kit in a garage, a passion for craft beer and a love for creating something extraordinarily delicious, out of basic, natural ingredients. The Philippine based company opened the doors to its first location in Baguio City in 2014. The decision to venture into the world of a craft brewery came about with our vision to cultivate a culture where people appreciate traditionally-brewed and unique handcrafted beers with none of the additives, preservatives or adjuncts that beer drinkers have been accustomed to. Our continuing advocacy is to educate and convert beer drinkers to craft beer drinkers.
