The garden ceremony area was expansive with the sun shining over the fields. The setting made the perfect backdrop for the couple's photos, complete with wildlife in the background. After a lovely ceremony, we enjoyed cocktail hour and then moved into the reception space, which was exactly what this couple had dreamed of. The band played, and we danced the night away. Just note there's no air conditioning in the reception barn, but there are very large fans. Long Hollow Gardens & Vineyards was the perfect venue for this Bride and Grooms dream wedding. My…read morefriends and I had heard about this place via social media, and were pleasantly surprised that it lived up to all of our expectations! We bought General Entry tickets & wildflower picking tickets online a few weeks in advance. When we got to the gardens they asked for our names and directed us to park. Once inside we stopped over a the bar for a wine tasting - all of the wines are made in Tennessee on property - and bought 2 bottles for us to enjoy throughout the night. We also checked in for wildflower picking at the bar and were given glass jars to fill with flowers. The staff was very kind and helpful during that process. I also thoroughly enjoyed the free strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade that they provided guests, though some of my friends thought it was too sweet! Our one mistake was not going to pick flowers earlier in the night. We started when the sun was setting, but the area was so large that it was dark by the time we were finished. It was also the last week for wildflower picking, so there weren't as many left available as I imagine there is earlier in the month. We also ordered pasta from Pasta Gailfi, a food truck that was on site and enjoyed it at our table. If I were to do it over again, I would also bring our own food and a deck of cards or a board game for us to enjoy as well! Exquisite design skills and fantastic customer service! I ordered bouquet for my mother over the phone from out of state and asked for whatever she could do on such short notice (just hours before they closed, the day before Mother's Day) and with a very small budget. I couldn't have imagined the results! I expected a simple bouquet with regular roses or lilies, something like you see in every flower shop online but don't usually actually get delivered to the recipient) but I was more than surprised when my mom sent me a picture. The flowers were exquisite and unique! They looked even better when she put them in her vase, they had beautiful depth, dimension and texture. I do believe things happen for reasons and that events in our lives are not random occurrences. When I came across your profile, I truly had no idea what to expect in planning for a huge life event, but after meeting with you for the first time​​ I felt comforted and knew we were in good hands. Understanding that each couple is different, I shared with you the things that I did know... - Me and my now Husband (fiancé at the time) travel up to/mostly 80% of the time for work. We hardly have any time for ourselves or any recreational activities, so DIY'ing our wedding was completely not an option. - We were definitely going to need someone who we could fully trust, cultivate a relationship with and thereby truly personalize our life milestone. - We needed someone who is knowledgeable, organized, and provide us with information we needed to make decisions that would be in our best interest, someone who would be an advocate for us, our budget and someone who is personable that can collaborate with all our vendors (​i.e. ​Contracts​& Fine Print). - We needed someone who could understand both of our personalities, cultural traditions and our intentions for hosting to a guest list of mostly out-of-towners. - I know myself...
