That said, if you do have the time to browse, you can pick up some real gems - anything from 'designer' clothes at a bargain basement price to cheap trainers to kitchenware, gym gear, luggage and beauty accessories. You have to wade through rubbish to get to the gems - but one man's (or woman's) junk is another man's treasures! I've got some real bargains at this store before so if you're not in a rush and don't have clear ideas in your head of what you're after, I would persevere because the stock is regularly updated and you might just find something fabulous! But if you go in there with a really set idea of what you want you could leave disappointed. This branch of TK Maxx isn't as good as others I've been to and its range is smaller - but now and again you can pick up some great bargains.

There are plenty of offers about, though for some bits bit may be cheaper to go to Poundland or Asda. I like the fact that you can walk in and pretty much get anything practical, and it's especially useful being a student.

There are plenty of fashionable items here, and it's so easy to find what you want as the store is spacious and the layout is clear. The changing rooms are also nice as well and never messy. I only really buy stuff from here occasionally, but I am really impressed with the accessory and jewellery section here, so I will probably pop in here more often. They also do a student discount, and had an event recently.

I sit here writing this nearly two months after my first, and so far only, visit. Drunken memories…read moreand embarrassing recollections of vast swathes of beautiful women, drunken hoards of zombified, River Island clad men and illicit (and regrettable) idiocy ....suffice to say I had a good night and an even worse head the next morning. We ended the night here; by the time we arrived it was already teeming with people. Overcrowded, dark and musty, full of wall to wall aftershave, bad decisions and a near miss with the cloakroom (I finally retrieved my coat after an hour of confusion), on the surface it reads like a failure. Instead the sardine tin atmosphere, the soundtrack and the cheap house alcohol provided us with the perfect base point from which we were able to carry out our fully fledged twattery. The boys were worse than the girls (aren't they always?) and our lot were worse than the rest. Downstairs was playing a selection of fantastic Motown hits; upstairs we were treated to 21st Century indie and bad decor reminiscent of Tony Montana, replete with plastic yukka. I walked out in error once trying to find the cloakroom downstairs; colleagues were thrown out for urinating where they shouldn't have. We would have 'Put Our Hands Up for Detroit' if we were able. Instead we had to make do with 'Getting Down' when James Brown told us. So much awkward shuffling on display but also so much fun, it comes thoroughly recommended.
